Npc Help

alright here is my problem, i can't give luto weapons or sheilds for my Npc and i don't understand why. My Npc is lvl59 i just got done with mirror mirror quest and maxed my bound, i been to wiki and read over everything about giving luto the items to give to the npc but i never get that option. Could anyone give me any advice on how to go about getting her to take my items to give to my npc.

She'll ask you something about new weapons and how you should give one to your npc, but start with a low level one and work your way up. You prolly don't have enough bond with him/her for Luto to offer it to you.

If you do though and she has said to bring her a weapon start with ones that a level 1 can wear and even then if she doesn't take it, it could be to do with the type of AI you have them set as.

My npc is "healing Smoother" Shield/sword, Do i need to get a lvl1 for both, or do i need to Follow the list i seen on Wiki!? i'm really kind of lost because i use my npc everyday and talk to her once per day and i'm yet to get luto to ask me about weapons and gear, i know my bound is hight because she will stay out now for 30 mobs before she says Feir well and despawns..

Try trading Luto a level one sword and shield until she asks you once more to trade her a weapon for your adventuring fellow, and just progress up the levels accordingly.
 
With regards to skipping weapon levels, When I traded weapons to Luto, I did skip levels just to see what happened. She accepted it just fine at that point in time, as long as you had a high enough bond for the appropriate level of weapon to be accepted. Perhaps there were changes.

Back to the issue, BBT, can you just post what is the exact weapon and shield you are trying to trade?

I had this exact same problem, but she did accept a tier 1 weapon, and right after that, luto then unlocked the tier 2, then I traded a tier 2, andf it unlocked 3.

I never really checked after that, just kept trading, so you may just need to trade in a tier 1 before the rest of the tiers become unlockable...

Just try giving her a tier 1 weapon and tlak to luto again, should work.

what i was meaning to say that it already looked like she was using them items. But i did in Fact trade Luto them items and and i just got done fully upgrading my weapon and shield for her, so the only thing left for me to do is Thank everyone for helping me out with is bump in the road.

Prolly the same thing, you only need oen item, in fact, just trade shields, daggers, and kunia, they're the cheapest weapons.

Personally my fav weapons are G axe and polearm. G katana is also pretty sweet now that you can lock the AoE WS your npc used to spam <_< >_>
