Okay, I am sure this is a dead horse but... where?
I did 30-35 or so in Rolanberry... then 35-45 in East Altepa (goblins)
I was told I should move to West Altepa and kill Beetles and Antica... however if I do this alone I have run out of time twice.. (based on really bad luck with Silence/Low MP)
I NPC as RdM/War (Double Attack, Defender(vs Antica), Berserk(vs Beetles), and overall higher attack/def. This is by far better than Rdm/Blm..
So my question is... where is a good place to take a 46 NPC with a 62RDM and level? I wanted to level with friends but .. they are not dedicated enough to do it every single day at the same time so I'll just solo it. Justs curious as to where.

No matter what subjob you're packing a level 62 RDM isn't going to be killing anything all that fast, especially as your NPC levels up and needs stronger prey. You're best bet would probably be something like the lizards and bees at the start of the Crawler's Nest, but those are common targets for slow kill mages. Makes me happy I didn't start leveling my NPC until I was 75 and could fight the mobs at the bottom of Boyhada Tree with no worries about death, MP or time constraints. You can probably head out to some of the winter zones because tigers, gigas and all that will still level your NPC for a while. You just need to know the mobs and their level ranges.

That's the NPC Experience table, use it, in conjunction with your general knowledge of the game, and a bestiary, such as allakhazams or somepage's.

I am wondering does NPC get XP chain as well?

Also i have been trying to get my NPC some cool gears and been lvling in sandy's sewage exclusively.. but my NPC still seems to have gear progression kinda randomly. I try to stick to one xp zone as best as i can and since it's always under sandy's control I figured it'd be a good idea. Besides i tried my best to stick with the hounds.

Are there any tips that i can get my NPC finish the adaman set asap?

thx for the tips

Just do what all the other NPC levelers do, find an exp party the same level as your NPC, and go kill all the mobs they're trying to exp on.

But seriously, shoot for mobs about 5 levels above your NPC, that you can easily kill, and are in a decent supply. The more common the zone you go to, the more competition you'll have from exp parties and other NPC levelers. Some good out of the way exp zones for 45 would be:
Tor. Canal - Bigclaw and Makara.
Fei'Yin - Underworld Bats and Camazotz

I'd avoid beastmen, especially anticans or tonberries. They're annoying, and there's mobs at the same level that die a lot easier, with a lot less downtime.

That first part made me lol... That's why I ask. I know all the places to level.. I just refuse to take PT exp mobs or even move into an area with another NPC leveler.. however one time I had a JP Mithra who was exping her's invite me... it was nice ^^ she had Narashima and was rdm, 74 or 75 I believe.. so it went fast :p

Thanks for the charts/places.. I basically figure if I get 20+ Exp per kill its good for her.. just Antica were hitting -hard- when I got a DC War type that seems to Double Attack 40% of the time -.- But again, thank you.. I'll prolly look into Fei'Yin cause I like it there.

Big question here.... how do I see her damage? I've always wondered if she did any noticeable damage.. and even with the filter for "NPC" off.. I still never see anything. Just curious. :3

Need to have "damage taken by foes" filter off in addition to "attacks by npcs" filter off. Its a strange overlap and possibly a bug that SE just never noticed since you can have "foes dmg" filter on and still see party or your own dmg simply by turning off that matching filter.

Read the link. It has everything. NPC equipment progression "levels up" as well. For example:

It'll go 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5, then back to one. As you progress again, it'll get to 6, then back to one, so on and so forth until the 10th set. If you exp your NPC after getting the 10th set and not locking it, it'll go back to the first again, but you will not have the staggering progression, you'll be able to go to the 10th again immediately. Body almost always changes, Pants are about a 75% chance, Boots and Gloves are 50% and less.

From lvl 42 or so with my NPC up to lvl 48 or 49 I actually exped my NPC a lot in Gustav tunnel, not with the higher lvl gobs, but before you get down to the lower part, and actually I managed to lvl up my npc fairly quickly there, and it's not too difficult for 60+.

Now my NPC is 51 or 52 though so I mostly go to places like Castle Otroja now that my rdm is 73, but that place is quite fun and somewhat a good place to farm, at least if you can fight the high lvl blm Yags for the expensive scroll drops.

It's not too bad, generally follow that chart Skaw put up, you don't have to fight mobs that are about 10 lvls higher than your npc to get max exp each time, sometimes I'll even take out my npc to exp a bit when farming a particular thing for a quest or something, and having tactics pearl really helps a lot.

I am on my last upgrade for weapon. Will I still be able to switch to other kind of weapons later on? or i am stuck forever??

Also i am having a hard time deciding which weapon to go, as a thf i prefer to having something that chains well with dagger, mainly GKT or Polearm. But the last upgrade of GKT costs 500k so i am having 2nd guess. So any suggestions?

i would go with GKT.. thats wut i use for my NPC. and yes, u can change your weapon whenever u please. but if u dont wanna spend 500k on your NPC, than id understand that. Go with Polearm is you must.

if u want armor upgrades dont only look at what nations owns the region u wanna lvl in u also wanna check the influence that time cuz it happend to me pretty often , lvl npc in sandy owned region but windy was dominant that time so .. my hara ate .. reset to lizard gear... what i did to get hara ate again .. call npc in Wronfauren train 25 mobs aoe WS them npc leaves and gets armor upgrade for sure (if u do it with new tactics pearl u get 4 lvls armor in like 30 min (10min recast)
