Today after the update pretty much every person that logged on thought about doing the NPC quest, and did. After doing the first two parts, i head to Ghelsba to do the bcnm 40. Well when i get there...i see to my amazment that a line has formed. Apparently only 1 person can enter the bcnm at a time. But a LINE was actually formed. People were actually acting in a civilized manner instead of just spamming the door. The line may have been long, but ppl stayed in it. I along with many others were very proud of this.

However there are always those that decide they are too good to stay in the line and actually wait. Wildkitty, Decidence, and Jinshorty, you guys are fucking low. All of you thought u were too good to stand in line. Kitty was insulted by somone calling her a manthra and decided to try and cut because "she was mad" and actually tried again later because "she had to go." Well the JP around just spammed the hell out of her with cure and it was impossible for her to enter. Jin also tried this shit but also couldnt get in and proceeded to tell everyone that he would " fak them up" and tried to cure me and some other ppl when our turn came up, altho it was obviously useless. Decidence came in and basically mocked everyone for curing him after he ran up to the door, then said he was there for drg quest...which was complete bull shit. I beat the thing and ended up leaving but i saw him as a 40 nin in ghelsba outpost right after i left...u guess what happened.

We had a great the going and for some reason you all felt you were too good to wait. I /cheer everyone that participated and /spit on those that didnt.
 
Fuck the shitty NPC, when I get on I'm going to start working on my Goblin Coif.

Seriously though, that whole line thing is VERY refreshing to hear. Nice to know at least some people can act civilized.
 
i was there Jinshorty tried to cure me to stop me from going in.. worked 2 times... to bad i was to fast for your stupid shit. zoo was very close behind me lol.

I agree that the orderly, civilized lines where everyone waits their turn in good humor is probably the best thing to ever happen when 100+ FFXI players get into the same zone. Aside from bashing idiots that tried to cut, everyone was cheering each other on and such. I don't know what SE was thinking making this a one at a time quest. FFXI isn't a one player game, and I hate it when SE treats it like one. A quest in FFXI should bear no resemblance whatsoever to getting a driver's license renewed, but it's all too similar. I wait in a long line for an hour, get to the end, and am greeted by an angry monster... It's the Vanadiel DMV.
 
Add a few more names to the list: Watchyourstep (surprise?) And hawke.....many who waited up to 3 hours threatened to MPK them and other who cut lol. We shall see what happens i guess
 
Oh yes. Place Minimage on that list as well. I went out of my way to help him (and several other people) and when we get to the Necropolis he brazenly strolls to the front of the line and cuts.

When we confronted him on it, he gave the following excuses...

"I pay every month."
"It's only a game."
"I'm not waiting in line."
etc etc etc

Ugh. I'm sorry but if there's a line, please be polite and wait in it or wait until there is no line...
 
Heh, I was there and some dickheads like Prophecy(or so I'm told) ran infront of everyone and popped the NM at the ???. Not only Prophecy, but many others. Most the JP and NA were civilized.

Yup they were. I saw many japanese symbols then {Blacklist} So these players better watch themselves. Btw minimage is a frickin noob. Sux in ballista too.

its called being fair and polite. just because it isnt illegal doesnt mean you have to be all gangster about it.
 
hey now im dissapointed in all of you I cut the line way befor prophecy i just tossed on my Ninja AF boots and poped the Skelly and not one person said a word to me then, At the Fort i cuz like 8000000000000000+ people they spam me with cures and poisona's and i still get in the Hut door.. forgot the lines all your doing is giving in to the people on 56k... just get faster at hitting it befor anyone else

Humm Reading this, i really wouldve thought the "Repectable" ppl would repect the line. Guess they seem to good to be in any sort of lines - .-
 
Good job to all the God/HNM LS leads that showed just what kind of ppl they are...
 
I was there when Hawke was a worthless bitch. but that's ok, he'll get what's coming to him. He doesn't seem to realize that he pissed off not one, not two, but at least 50-100 people today. :twisted:
