Is there a secret to getting a second wii-mote synched up to your system? I originally thought that the controller was broke because I hit the power button and nothing happens. No blue lights flicker or anything. I then started to think that perhaps the batteries were somehow shipped to me dead. So as I went to swap them out I noticed a little red synch button and just hit it for fun. The 4 blue lights on the front started to flash proving the batteries were good.

Yet and still the power button doesn't seem to work and this second controller is proving to be nothing more than a paper weight.

Is it broke or am I stupid? :D Maybe both? If it is a simple answer that is in the manual my defense is that I am at work and don't have the manual.

You have to press the controller's sync button and then the console's sync button.

Or was it the other way around?

Either way, both have to be active at the same time for the controller to sync up.

Any wiimotes also have to be re-synced to any other system with which you want to use them, because they can only "remember" one Wii at a time (presumably for cases where there would be more than one Wii in a room, since the system only supports 4 connections).

You have to synch the wiimote up to your wii like Tag said, so you have to hit both the button on the wiimote and the wii itself. :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm: :rtfm:

Told ya I am at work. The manual is at home. ^^ ;

Thanks for the answers though.
