Now I'm not one to start a flame on someone, but this guy really deserves it. I've partied with Numo twice, and he is the most incompetent person I've ever met. He said he has a 75 SMN yea right if you had a 75 SMN you'd know how to set up an SATA seeing it multiple times executed. You can't even establish hate properly you fucking suck at what you do I suggest you stop now and sell your character back to whoever you bought it from. Now what really erks me is you Mijin Gakured in a fight then warped to Jeuno with out saying a damn word to the mostly JP party who were atleast competent, except for the warrior. You also need to get some fucking evasion gear and AGI not a Courage Ring +1 and wearing your Empress Ring 24/7 with taru RSE on the side. Then maybe your shadows wont be chewed through so fast. You need to stop NIN or make sure you're atleast a decent tank. I'm not saying I'm the best, but I could have taken my 41 Ninja into The Boyhda Tree and Kuftal Tunnel and done a better job of tanking then you. So grow some intelligence and buy the shit you need for your job or just fucking quit because I'm sure you're noob ass is already on tons of blacklists. I know you're on mine.
 
I have to agree with Romperstomper here I was in said Boyahada Tree party and this guy did suck. There were countless deaths, most of which could of been avoided if he'd lined up for SATA and/or been able to keep hate. I don't like to flame people usually but at level 50+ you really should know how to play the job your playing.
 
lol is well you should know you can't dodge anything IT++ which is what you would mostly be killing. I stack on ATK and STR and evasion

yes i've tested both gear set ups and no matter what that IT++ mobb will hit me no matter what. SO hey might as well just stack up str and make do right? With this i out dmg most DD

My main problem was he made no attempt at any eva+ gear and he wouldn't line up for SATA. Not lining up for SATA as a nin is just stupid. Honestly you need to see this guy playing as nin. I've never seen anyone as bad.

then why do nins do so good in exp parties vs it++? if they got hit each time they would die, end of story.
 
Numo really has a 75 smn, just thought i'd put that out there. 75 smn is 100% different from any level ninja, having one doesn't mean you don't suck at the other.

Still, you should know what you're doing as Lv75. Especially at Lv30+ (SATA was involved), he should know what the hell he's doing. If anything at all, he should AT LEAST have studied the job a little bit before deciding to go NIN.
 
Well the fact that he as lvl 75 smn doesn't meet jack. its the fact that hes gotten to lvl 50+ and has no clue what sata is and how its set up. considering sata is used in parties within the mid 30's. thats almost 20 levels of parting that sata is involved and he hasn't even figured out how sata work when his job is the primary tank in a party. and considering how easy sata is to pull off. it seriously is kinda sad. this guy shouldn't be the tank if he can't hold hate or sata properly
 
Dont worry me and Romper (I can't say for the rest of the party) disbanded and got out of there asap. If the other party members are reading this I hope you didn't have to bloodport out of there. I couldn't care less about whether he has a 75smn or not. He might be a very good smn (i'd say he must be to get to 75 but if he can get to 50+ Nin and be this bad, who knows?) My problem was as first voke i'd have to Super Jump right near the beginning to get the hate off me, if he lined up for SATA and actually kept hate i'd have no problems with him.

check me sometime, gods miss me all the time and they are IT++ *I would assume* people don't think it's useful to load up on evasion, I beg to differ. nin ain't a DD, if you're a great tank, you can leave the DD to everyone else.
sure they can do damage but they won't compare to other DDs and if they are, they can't tank for shit. when you see that your whm never drops under 1k mps then you know you're doing your job.
 
ninja are awesome DD... they can equip the best DPS weapons in the game. the difference is, they can't tank AND be a wicked DD at the same time.

Bro, what in the hell are you talking about.
Do you know how a DD ninja @ 75 tanks? Lately more and more have become accustomed to the styling of it, and quite frankly, you obviously havent spent much time looking into it, because a ninja at 75 equipped for high DD and DPS results doesnt give a flying fuck about multiple evasion stacking items during EXP. So long as he's hasted, and the katanas are flying, a well equipped ninjas DPS is hard to beat.
Lemme fill you in on somethin, damage is part of how a good DD ninja tanks, you hold hate by dishing out damage.
Lowering your delay, and keeping haste on yourself helps greatly with this.
For one, next time you are on, take a look at my setup, most people will tell you, its a goddamn good DPS setup for tanking.

From my viewpoint, having actually played ninja up til 75, man, during EXP, i truly could care less about stacking the shit out of my evasion, it goes too fast, what i'd rather do, is nab a haste, swing like fucking crazy, use my TP, enfeeb with kurayami, and hojo, voke twice, and hate is set. Taking a couple hits never hurt anybody, and during exp when I do get hit in a fight, its once or twice maximum.
I will not toot my own horn here, but damnit man, before ya go and say some stupid shit like that, know what the fuck you are talking about.

HEY I was in that party too... and Numo does suck and he does have some pretty strange gear... but thats my opinion...
 
Well I have found out that he has a 75 SMN, but I'm sure he prolly fluked most of that too like his NIN. With my set-up on NIN it's rare that I miss both swings of Katana so I'm holding hate fairly well except when it comes to the spamming BLM of a taru. So much MP such lil spell cast in between. I use my defeebs when I can to keep hate if they stick now. Ni spells I have found to be great for keeping hate, and well I didn't see him launch any just basic defeebs and not set-up for SATA. He said are we going to SATA then I asked him will you set-up for it so you can have hate? Then asked him do you even know how to establish hate with a thf in your party wich is one of those crucial things to a NIN when fighting something that runs alot. Hell I was lucky enouch to remember my Alacrity Rings to break up SATA when needed. What we were fighting coned IT+ to me and the Robber Crabs in Kuftal were IT-+ so they werent hard to hit to keep hate. So it wasn't IT++ this was a 53-56 party. He's just incompetent, and he will stay on my black list. If he has wants to level NIN he shouldn't be so cheap about it, and even then if he still can't tank he needs to stick to mage jobs and fluke it a little more.

You just only proved my point. A level 75 any job has seen SATA executed if it be from a DRK THF or any job that subs thf at 60+. He has seen it enough times that he should know how to set it up. I know SMN is on the opposite end of the spectrum, but NIN uses magic to keep hate. Why do you think NI spells are there and are considerablly stronger than the lower Ichi spells. I know some of the Ni spells aren't cheap.

Best Ninja I've ever partied with, maybe best on the server, is Peterli and he does a hell of a lot of damage. He's taken on some of the nastiest mobs on our server with only a THF, a WHM and a BLM and done the job. Part of his success is that he has a great THF to set hate and SC with, a bad THF can wipe you out at higher levels. What I'm trying to say is it's a team effort, everyone does their bit and one bad player can kill a party.
