I know there have been several cards about graphics problems, but I've tried multiple nVidia based graphics cards & I still see holes in dark, stormy clouds. Currently using MSI 6800GT. Anyone have this problem & find a fix? Also another error is clashing of armor & skin on back of mithra neck.

The only problem I ever had is when I'm in a big zone, like the highlands, some of the further away stuff will be faded. It only happens when I'm running the windower though.

My cards aren't really supported in this game though and I have the newest drivers for playing BF2, and that game looks sick, so I just deal with it.

I found a fix. After putting up with nVidia's sub par cards, at best, for years I started buying ATI's.

ive had expieriences with the nvidia graphics issues before. I also wont be returning to ATI XD
but ffxi is compatable with like one driver for the nvidia cards, i cant remember exactly which one but i remember its an older one.
i had to downgrade on me and my wifes computer to fix some graphical issues, but it seemed to make it all better.

There was a registry edit that worked for me to fix the graphics problems with my shitty old FX5200. nVidia is actually starting to be ahead of ATI in the technology end of things but ATI is getting the fame still bc they're "stable" with more games. AKA a total retard can setup an ATI card and have it work right but nVidia might take some tweaking.
