Nyzul Isle '???' item thieves

As must Nyzul Isle runs go, the party that gets '???' items typically appraises them at the end. However, there are always one or two individuals that will quickly grab an '???' item and then bail when time to appraise items.

Today that character was Fhuri.

I've blacklisted him simply for doing just that; if he joins your Nyzul Isle run, be careful because he has every intention in taking the '???' items for himself to bazaar them in Upper jueno.

I'm sure there are others in Quetzalcoatl that take the '???' items and go (or worse, appraise item, see something they like and remove all party members to get it if leader). So please, share any other person that should be on the list of thieves of Nyzul Isle.

And Fhuri, if you reading this... yes, your on my blacklist; don't expect to have me in any party you have in the future.

I've actually done this twice by accident, collected all the ??? items for the group and COMPLETELY forgot to appraise. Not quite the same thing but similar.. ^^;

This kinda thing seems to happen kinda often for some reason when I did pickup nyzul.

I've done it before on accident too, like... 4 times. Never got flamed for it. I've seen people do this before also. Never flamed them for it. It just seems like its not a big deal to me. To go off and sell them though, I think that's kinda douchey.

No offense to Tenchi, but anyone else realize another one of these flames pop up every 2-3 months or so?

I'm sure they weren't good ??? items then, because theres a big difference between a Argus ??? neck and a ??? ring from one those Mal- Ring ghosts.
If you don't think its a big deal then why do you post each time? Personally, I think its a good player warning.

Because I like to hear myself talk. Or see myself type for that matter.

And someone has taken the ??? boots from Simmy and I've taken(accidently) the ??? Neck from Argus one before. I've never even really seen a bad NM like those ghosts much. Usually like Eastern Shadow, Argus, Simmy, somthing worthwhile.

Personally, I think its a good player warning because the guy is actually selling them. I mean, if you are going to take them, at least have the decency to appraise it.

That's fine and all, but he didn't indicate to me that he was going to split that gil with the party afterwards. That is why I got vicious, because it was purpose and thought out.

Still on page one~ Made July 13th, so just under 2 months.

All I can say is I have seen Sekret, some 80k mantle and a 150k earrings pld love drop in nyzul. All on the 1st time we fought the NMs. I can understand people getting a little miffed. You could always see about agreeing the leader pick up the ??? items to avoid this.

I have seen PCA, Strider Boots, V.Bow, L.Boots, Serket ring, and I got my own Bloodbead ring from this assault. Yes, to some people, those ??? items are shit (even to me from time to time). However, chance is there, to give some people something they want. stealing those items for personal gain is just shity. Some people might say "oh it's not worth a flame", but I bet they will say other wise if it happens to them, espeically when it's something they want.

To avoid this, just run this assault with people you trust.

My Nyzul group got Jet Seraweels off a ??? drop recently, yes most times its a bronze knife or Lauan Shield that we get apraised but you never can tell how your lucks going to pan out.
