Obligation to reimburse player for AH overpayment?

I bought a Novio Earring for 2m once, when they were going for 20m. 10minutes later the sent me his oh shit msg. I was nice and returned it for a nice little payment of 18m. i mean honestly, he did get a 4m discount on it....

That's exactly how Raes was defining hypocritical - a person who would take the overspent gil on their item, but be greatly upset and try to get the money back from their overspent purchase.

Let's say this incident happened, although it may be unlikely, but let's say for example you saved up for a few years and earned yourself 12 mil. Then you bid on a purchase that's worth 1.2 mil but you accidently over bid an extra 0 digit and end up bidding your entire 12 mil savings.

Can you honestly say you won't be upset losing that entire 12 mil and be back down to 0, or would you just consider it a loss and not even bother to track that money down and get it back?
How in the hell would it take you years to save up 12m O.o

And one more flaw with Hexx's argument, we're talking about millions here, can only send 1m at a time.

Also, before anyone calls me a hypocrite, ive paid 7m on a nq snipers before, what did I do? I never got the money, never expected it. Tossed the nq and bought an HQ.
