Went to do WHM AF3.. 75rng/nin, nin/war, blm/rdm and myself as 64rdm/whm.

This NM is impossible to silence, period.. and you can't stun everything. Needless to say we lost.

So this again proves.. why have fun with XI when you can just heave an alliance of god geared 75's at everything.

SE has taught me, this is how I will be handling everything from now on I guess. I spent my day in Eldieme (some of it away due to a medical emergency) but people helping me sat in that hell hole for hours.. got me my bell.. just for this prick to waste the whole time.. so back the the Eldieme Crapopolis I go..

I put this in good times, because it will be a "good time" when I throw 17 level 75's at this SOB and flatten him in mere seconds.

This definitely hinders my joys of whm a great deal

Side note.. yes.. I am very PO'd that we wiped to this prick.. so I'll prolly edit the OP eventually but right now thats -exactly- how it seems.
 
Really, when i did this i had teppo, nibble and a jp that liked anal sex >.> and we kicked it's ass.

This is 0/2 on this guy.. first with leech and now for mine.. this is frustrating.. I am beginning to think Pld is the only tank worth using for him
 
are you talking about for the AF3 body piece? Because youre never going to solo it as whm. I know lots of plds that have a hard time, and Ive only seen 1 pld ever come close to soloing it and that was kurei in about 800mil in gear.

I can solo him on smn tho =p just takes an hour and a billion carbuncles. So if you get another bell and i'm not in a pt or something let me know and ill come help :)
 
I almost solo'd him. Went as WHM/NIN and got him down to a little under 25% before he hit me with 3 dimensional deaths in about 5 seconds while utsusemi and stoneskin were both down. His melee does massive MP drain, so without some sort of refresh, it's very difficult.
 
I didn't mean to solo him ^^; I meant a full pt... I just don't like this guy >.< he is a jerk!

I just went into Eldieme.. 10min got 2 bells O.o; so I am gonna try in a bit if I can find a tank or.. Nico.. if you're free <.<
 
That's funny, because my buddy, who is a 69 WHM, was over my house telling me that if anyone says they can solo this NM, get more people. Yeah I have my bell and I('m not looking forward to this fight.
 
I've read (on LOL ALLA) of Rdm/Nin soloing this guy but very slowly.. HOW?! His -ga's are devistating.. The wimpy move isnt the problem, its the fact he spams Waterga/Stonega/Aeroga III without any delay >.<

um... I did this fight like.. 4 or 5 times... never lost
PLD is not the best tank for it
both, nin and pld, are fine

when you have a good nin, you have to cure less.
I also won with following setup:
NIN, SAM, WHM, WHM, SMN (smn didn't 2hr)

I think, important is to have more than 1 whm for healing. if you bring rdm with you, s/he should focus on healing
 
More wont neccissarily be better on this, unless you mean more tanks... Giving a ton of TP to shadow mobs never ends well. >.<
 
That might be it... rdm/whm and blm/whm dont make the best healing.. I really didn't want the guy to LIVE long enough to need much curing and I am sorta on a downswing of people online at 1am >.>;
Gonna try again today... if I can.
 
I think you setup was fine... only missing 1 more whm (70+) maybe

you don't really need a full alliance for this
 
Well I hope something works out... I just feel terrible for our 75nin and 75rng who had to eat R1's when they were just trying to help me out :/
 
you shouldn't need more than what you have...
i'm pretty sure i beat this guy as 75 bst/nin with 75rdm/blm and whm/blm (60 something)

This is the NM in Feiyin correct?

I remember my backup plan was to run downstairs and stall with bats till callbeast was up again if it was looking tough.
 
I read about that strategy Rhaddy.. sound very cool.. but it was along the lines of Manafont Waterga III, Waterga IIII, Stonega III, Dimensional Deathx5

its not really a solo when you have a 2nd whm with you. lol
