Obviously SE doesn't like "fun"

The funny thing i found was me trinite and this rng toke that NM out 65 pld/war 63 drk/whm 69 rng/nin and we just owned it
 
I'd have to see that.. no offense.. but this thing can tear up 75's, I dunno that a trio of 60's could take it down....
 
In the dozen or so times I've fought this shadow I've never seen him kill anyone, including against parties of people in the 60s. You just seem to have rotten luck with some NMs. But definitely PLD is the better tank for this guy.
 
I guess I do have bad luck with NM's -.-; I'm gonna just stop with guessing on them and assume the yare all harder than they are so I stop getting owned.. dying is really annoying as a mage cause it's not a usual practice like as a Melee -.-

I tanked my own. Was me THF75 and two best friends as RNG75 and WHM70...
I died in the end finally but we still won. Could have used more healers. Then we went back for a friends of mine and pretty much trio'd it... NIN75 to tank, me as MNK75 (awesome damage due to the undeadness of the mob) and WHM.

If you need a hand getting this done I'm free tomorrow night. Just send me a tell. ^^
 
One thing I did notice while soloing this mob, was that it has a butt ton of HP. I recall doing a Blade: Jin for over 1,300 and it only took about 10% of its HP. That's a lot of HP >.>;, if I had the parser running, probably could have come up with an accurate HP count.

I did this with a 56WHM (who sat there doing nothing...), a 75THF, and a 74WAR. Was really close though, since the THF couldn't keep up Utsusemi fer crap and I wound up having to kite the thing to get Auto-Refresh MP back (WAR and THF wound up dead and I was sapped on MP...and the other WHM still did crap x_x)

Long story short though, it doesn't at all need an alliance, and I'll happily come help if need...


And yeh, Blazn is lying. Yet again. But what else is new?

This guy isnt hard at all.. I have duo'd it 5 or 6 times.. me and a 75 ninja..2 different ninjas the first 4 times was me and Gorgeous, and the last time was me and Vang.. Never did we even get in trouble..
 
I guess, this fight depends on how well you are prepared. OH, and the day. First time I went to fight him... we all lacked to realize it was darksday. And, subsiquently, we all wiped, all 6 of us. 71 (?) whm/75 pld/70-something blm/58 pld/level something that wasnt even in fey'in/ and me 58 whm. Thank you all for attempting... I think we could have taken him on lightsday ^^.

WHM AF3 needs more MNK.

Seriously. When NoizyTribe did Misi's run we practically owned this guy with 100-Fists and Mighty Strikes, with I think Mercator and Reynard sharing hate. People died, but in the immortal words of Gain:

SE has taught me, this is how I will be handling everything from now on I guess. I spent my day in Eldieme (some of it away due to a medical emergency) but people helping me sat in that hell hole for hours.. got me my bell.. just for this prick to waste the whole time.. so back the the Eldieme Crapopolis I go..

I put this in good times, because it will be a "good time" when I throw 17 level 75's at this SOB and flatten him in mere seconds.

This definitely hinders my joys of whm a great deal
