I get on to XI last night, about 10:00PM or so I believe. I see my fiance isn't on, sleeping. ; ; Looks like a bad start already. So I drop anon and check out /sea all 55-58 inv. I'm a 56RDM, about 5k tnl. I see a Whm, Blm, Thf, Nin, Pld, Pld, Whm, Blm.. thats a good pick your own pt. But I have a fear of making pt's.. especially at so high level. (To me.. I know 58 isn't high.. but I know all the camps from 1-55ish) This is all new to me, I don't know where to go, aside maybe The Boyahda Tree. So I get an invite, Thf, Whm, Pld, Mnk, Drg, and myself (Rdm). They wanna go to Kuftal.. alright I guess, nothing is IT there though that we could exp on. We find the Cape Teriggan zone has 2 pt's already, so we go into the Cape and end up at the South Valley of Sorrows entrance.. it's just NOT working out. Kills are quick, but.. not enough enemies to fuel us.
So we Teleport-Mea, and go to The Boyahda Tree.. camp is empty. Our puller manages to get aggro from a Goobue ._. but it's taken care of.. scared us good though.Then our Drg vokes a Mandy-type mob on accident.. ._. he runs for zone but dies on the way. Be sure it comes back and lays into our PT while we were resting from the battle we were in. Have to Teleport-Mea out. The Mnk and Thf leave pt.. so does Whm, as do I. Awesome.. 2.5 hours for exactly 3k exp -.-
So I warp and flag up. *Blip* Invite ^^ wohoo.. only 2k tnl now, I'm really liking my chances at 57. Here's why my night was amazing.
Whiskas, our leader, had to be the best thf I have ever pt'd with. great puller, and if aggro never got anyone killed. We started off with Thf Pld Rng Blm Whm Rdm.. which was odd, cause no backup voke for the thf. Rng pulled first, then Ta/Sa to the Pld. This worked great and our SC/Bursts were nuts.But it was fun! Then Rng d/c'd and we had to sit (/sit...) for about an hour waitiing on a Samurai. Whole pt effectiveness whent nuts. Our whm was compitent, our Pld lost hate VERY rarely (Blizzaga II Burst on a missed Sata Distortion will do that..) and never once did our Whm/Blm/Rdm(me) die. We hit chain 5 numerous times.. which is very rare for me. I see chain 3 as good anymore.
Our BlM was absolutely amazing, and a total sweetheart.. Darkrose ... amazing job.. and your personality made the 8 hour PT all the sweeter.
Granted.. we didnt get 5k an hour, or anything like that.. but we had ZERO arguements, no troubles.. we all worked wonderfully together. I went from 2k to 57... to 1k into 58 in 1 PT... as well as making a lovely new friend.
I wanna thank you guys, I hope you read this.. absolute without a doubt the best PT experience I have ever had.. it was fun.. and I wish we were a static because the performance was perfect. Big thanks again to Whiskas, for puttin together an 18k exp party.. not including anyone who used an Emp band (or 2.. mine was already used)

*edit* leme add this went from about midnight to 8AM est.. talk about a lucky night? Normally I can LFP for hours on end at this time. XD so happy *hugs her Tabard*

i know darkrose, very cool player!!
and the funny thing is she's why I came back 
she always threatned me when I was quitting, and now she's even more mean to me since I'm considering cancelling my account cause of work XD, but I prolly wont... /fearDarkrose ><
