I'd love to say I didn't see it coming, but I did. The two of them were totally unreliable during my time in the great Dynamis shell that is Perfect Ataraxia before I switched servers. Odhinn's attendances were hit and miss at best, far worse than Elyssa. He would go through entire runs without uttering a word, and if he was spoken to, it would take a good 5 minutes for a response, if one were ever to be received. One Windurst run sticks in my mind about Elyssa, when she turned up on BRD with no gear at all, and bitched about receiving a R1 after a full wipe. Two players I would have been happy never to have had to play FFXI with. When I joined, I think Odhinn was aready a relic upgrader, and throughout my time in the shell, I never understood why. He attended runs he felt like attending, benefited hugely from the generosity of the shell, then bounced like I had a feeling he would.
I actually discussed Odhinn with a LS member before, stating that I couldn't stand people who rarely contributed to conversation at any Dynamis run, let alone someone benefiting so greatly. I also said that I could see him fucking the LS over and leaving before his relic was finished. Turns out he's gone a step further and finished the relic, then bounced. He and his wife will see nothing wrong with this, though. It' just a game afterall, RL takes precedence, and that'll be the excuse. Again, I'm very sad to see this happen to a shell that still holds so many good memories for me, and I hope they continue to run dynamis for a good while to come.
