Odourous Knife

Hey, I've seen a few of these around in Batillia lately, and I'm wondering how the latent effect activates on it. It's +6 damage latent effect. I don't want to snag this little sucker for 3m just to find out I can't activate it.

Does anyone have an answer to this riddle?

p.s. I hate how SE did the latent effects on items -_-;

Odourous knife is used to spawn Golden-Tongued Culberry,
wich drops Uggalepih Pendant. I dont think anyone bothered
to find out what triggers the layent.
