Official 2009 NBA Playoffs

First: It's bullshit that the Refs let the Bulls absolutely SLAM Rondo twice without any repercussions. They called the entire game so tight except those two possible flagrants towards Rondo.

Second: You say Dwight will have his way with Perkins, but historically Dwight has been very very flustered and annoyed by Perk. Dwight is a great player but Perk plays solid defense, he's got Dwight outweighed and he knows how to use that weight and physicality. That being said, I still pencil Dwight in for 15/15 a game, but not a dominant 15/15. I think the Celts will beat Orlando, though, which is a shame because Orlando is the only team who can play with Cleveland, lol.

I'm thinking that Perk will try and take the falls and attempt to foul him out, yea I agree with Orlando Vs Cavs. Thing is Perk seems to be getting into early trouble lately with the fouls though, I hope it doesnt repeat in the next series cause Scalabrine sure as hell isnt gonna contain Dwight.

I guess Dwayne Wade was the only one that decided to show up and play today...

Jeese, never seen a team miss so many wide open 3's like the Magic did later in the game...still managed to get the W in Boston which is pretty nice, although need to do a better job closing out games. Boston played like shit and still was in the game at the end.

Very impressed with Rockets win, they really covered them good on the defense and Yao Ming is a hell of a player for what he pulled tonite.

I said earlier I thought the Lakers might be in trouble. At least game one is the least important of any series. I still hold out hope that this is a damn wake up call.

Yea I'm sure they'll just chalk it up to being a little rusty since they had so many days off, plus they say Kobe had a temperature. If Rockets somehow pull a game 2 win though...

Don't even say it >.<

I just feel so bad for T-Mac. If there was any one person I would have liked to see get out of round 1, it was him. I'm happy Yao Ming is doing well though, the guy is just a friggen beast. Don't think anyone is really that worried about the Lakers though...yet anyways.

Celtics had alot of energy, Rondo just ripped that court apart. Man that Lakers vs Houston game got a little nasty at times, gonna be fun watching them in Houston.

I cant stand Denver this post season, and I really really REALLY cant wait to watch the Lakers destroy and embarrass them. Hopefully Boston finishes the Magic off tonite.

Unfortunately for you, this won't happen... This Lakers team is way too complacent to really roll anyone, I think. If they win two games in a row big, they'll get destroyed in game 3, they're just a lazy team. That being said, I don't even think that they'll beat Denver... they just don't seem to have it. Cavs v. Nuggets finals, Cavs in 5.

As of right now, I don't have the Lakers getting past Denver.

If they do, they'll win the championship, the Cavs this year don't match up well with the Lakers, but then again, the Lazy, I don't care Lakers probably won't get past Denver.

Well...the Lakers just aren't very good. Houston doesn't have T-mac (well they always play better without him anyway), BUT no Yuo Ming either. They might not even make it to play Denver lol.

lol I can't wait til tomorrow so that the magic and rockets move on to the conference finals lol.

Lakers suck, going like 3-21 in the 1st quarter is pretty damn sad lol

crap crap crap crap crap!!!! Fuck that! I'm callin it, when KG comes back next year no one will stop them. For now though both finals should be exciting, I guess I'll just randomly back the Magic.

If the Lakers are on their game, they can cinch the conference and the finals ala 40-point blowout in Game 5.

That being said you're obviously not on your game when a team minus 3 of their best players takes you to Game 7.

And through all the hate... Kobe continues to be the best finisher in Basketball.

With all this Lebron vs Kobe talk I really would like to see them face off in the finals. Granted Lebron and the Cavs haven't really been faced with much of a challenge as of yet but I think it could prove to be a good game.
