Already a surprising day, Boston 103 - Chicago 105 OT Derrick Rose is gonna be trouble for these guys (36 points).

Ray Allen, even last year didn't do good in the playoffs.

Yea exactly, but they NEED him to show up and play this time around with KG out for the rest of the playoffs. Cleveland is about to put Detroit out of its misery, I cant wait to see Portland vs Houston and Dallas vs San Antonio tonite.

I think it was just one off-night for Ray-ray... not like last year where it was the first 3 series, up until the finals... Derrick Rose is the real deal though, he's gonna be great for a long time, I think. Still... losing game 1 doesn't make me feel great bout our chances.

Utah 19 21 33 27 100 Final
LA Lakers 30 32 24 27 113
UTA: C. Boozer 27 Pts, 9 Reb, 2 Ast
LAL: P. Gasol 20 Pts, 9 Reb, 1 Ast
Lakers lead series 1-0

Even though LA isnt my team, its always entertaining watching them play. It's like watching someone play NBA Jams.

Philadelphia 27 19 19 35 100 Final
Orlando 25 25 29 19 98
PHI: A. Iguodala 20 Pts, 8 Reb, 8 Ast
ORL: D. Howard 31 Pts, 16 Reb, 2 Ast
76ers lead series 1-0

Ugh I want Orlando to win this series so bad....

Go Miami! Go Hornets!

Officiating in the playoffs can be hard to watch. So many fouls are called left and right it's ridiculous.

Poor Miami and Hornets =(

This is the truth, in fact, NBA officiating in general is abysmal.

Man it's hard to get into a game sometimes when every other transition ends with a foul. Pretty much, if you drive to the basket...foul. If one of the stars even gets touched..foul. Tiny bump..foul. COME ON, speed up the damn game and let them play!

On another note. The Lakers just kind of cruised and showed no urgency in that game whatsoever. Kobe didn't play hardly in the 2nd half. I hope they get hungry in the next round, because Houston or Portland play them well.

Boston might have won, but as close as it was at the wire im not comfortable with this at all...

If my boys make it deep into the playoffs (by deep, I mean meeting The Lebrons in the conf. finals), it's gonna be a lot of close games. KG is one of the greatest help defenders in the history of the NBA. He erases tons of mistakes in every game. He prevents at least 3-4 easy buckets each game. If you factor in that their bench is week, even though Mikki Moore and Stephon Marbury are giving good minutes, and the fact that Pierce is fatigued as shit after playing tons of minutes since KG went down, and tons of pressure-packed minutes... It's gonna be real tough man, real tough.

Ray Allen. Fucking Ray Allen.....Just had to put his game mode on today huh?

We had that if he had missed it, as well as some fucking rebounds my god.

Epic game again though. We're gonna win these 2 @ home hopefully

I am no Celtic fan by any means but am so pleased today.. Was great to see Rondo show Rose how its done. His line for the night is some of the most impressive stuff i have seen in a while. Always have been a Ray Allen fan.. Being in CT and a huskie fan.. The dude is a machine.

On another note who on earth is going to stop Lebron this year? I was thinking at one point only Orlando could.. Looks serious.

The Cavaliers, they are a well put together team. Without Mo Williams that team is where it was last year. Just not good enough.

I hate seeing Dwayne Wade, CP3 and Dwight Howard do so much for their teams and still lose. Those 3, other than the Celtics of course, are guys I'd love to see get a ring someday. Tonite is gonna be another night of highlight filled games with Lakers vs Utah and Cavs vs 76ers, although I think Philly shouldn't be taken so lightly but we'll see.

cavs vs detroit

philly vs magic is tomorrow

Todays games are blowouts except maybe blazers/rockets

doh i meant you cant count the pistons out. They've pulled some crazy shit before, I dont like Pistons that much but it would make everything more entertaining for the sake of the playoffs.

I feel sorry for D. Wade. He's essentially what Kobe was 3-4 years ago. Leading the league in points, and for what? Me being a Lakers fan, I know what it feels like for Miami right now. Watching a great athlete, while in his prime, watch it go by while management does nothing to improve the team around it.

Now people know why Kobe wasn't very happy. D. Wade...give him time, he'll be the same if he doesn't leave Miami next year due to all the free agents.

See the Lakers now? Kobe's bitching brought about what they've been the last two years. I say..BITCH D.Wade.... BITCH to your hearts content!
