Game 7 cup finals... It doesn't get better than that.
 
Pens only won cause the Wings played fucking horribly and the nobodies on the pens stepping up their game. Can't wait to see even more coverage of that pussy Crosby next year. Not bitter that the wings lost, especially the way they were playing, but the Pens deserved to win the cup about as much as the Steelers in XL did.

Congrats to the Pens and their fans. I was busy with wedding stuff and didn't get to see most of game 7 (kinda glad I didn't now lol ). The only thing that really annoys me is the way they keep hyping Crosby. Malkin was the real star IMO.
 
so what i heard on espn is that crosby didnt go through the line to shake hands with the opponent after the game?

Cindy is so awesome I guess he can do what he wants? Why shouldn't he be able to after his dominating performance over the detroit series?
 
Not bitter, my ass. And Crosby did shake hands with the wings and coaches. Lidstrom and Drapes left the ice quicker than the rest of the team and then said that Sid "snubbed" them. He's not my favorite player or anything, but all the nitpicking about everything he does and doesn't do by the media is getting old already.
 
What to do when you hate the Wings and Penguins so much it hurts... But I guess they both couldn't lose the game. I wonder why Fagby Crysby didn't dive for the cup like he took dives against the Flyer's and Capitals to get there? It would have been fitting; considering the NHL knows the Penguins have been taking dives all season and they'll be assessing the rules over diving this offseason due to their success with cheating. But enjoy the Cup; someone else in the east will win it next year. I'm thinking probably the Caps, Flyers, or Rangers. Not a fan of the 'canes, and I doubt they can put it together to get to the cup anyway. Caps, Flyers, Rangers, and the diving penguins are the only teams in the east that I see getting that far. Not to mention they're big market teams as well, so they have an additional advantage there.
 
Would be cool to see the Rangers go deep but I think they'd have to fill a couple gaps properly in order to do so. Hopefully all the shitty Rangers fans around here in NY will stop talking about Matteau for 15 years now if they can get another cup...
 
in all honesty, the canes probably didnt deserve to be in the playoffs as far as they were. they looked horrible. i compare them to the orlando magic in the playoffs. didnt really deserve to be in teh spot they were in because they blew it
