Could be a mistake.

Alternately, the Enhances Souleater could be part of the set effect, therefore making it useless to all non-DRK except as a mediocre STR ring, since the other part of the set is:

Further edit: To be honest, I kinda like the new set effect gear being limited to 2 pieces (apparently). Head and Hands at that, not overly huge pieces to begin with. Though damn SE for making the Iron Ram gear so tempting for my PLD... Nice to have those for a elemental/magic resist set if the bonuses are decent... I may have to start fighting for Sandy...

I doubt this set with another name is part of the Plastron set.
 
"Enhances Souleater" is useless to a drk though unless they finally allow it to stack. If you're a drk and you don't already have that from SOMETHING (hell, even nq af hat) then you're definitely doing something wrong. So... yeah, don't get it.

Yeah, what j00 said. Maybe its good at lvl 70. But at 75 I'd rather not worry about it.

Perhaps it doesn't increase damage done, but damage taken to yourself.
If that was true, it would be nicer I guess. But if it's nonstackable with AF and/or has the same effect or something, yes you're right.
 
Scythe might be a decent alternative to Perdu/Tred tho'. Have to see what kind of accuracy the latent adds. Would have to be fairly substantial to balance out for most things though.

And yes, a nice consolation prize for DRK zerg builds would be the ability to stack Souleater boosts. Though it would require me to go out and get those pants...
 
There's some nice stuff for pld in there and my drg is gonna have to stop for the new gear in at least 2 slots.
There's not much i see there for my thf since upon lv 72+ everything else gets better and the storetp+10 gkatana looks like sex if the latent is easy enough.

And on another side note, can anyone confirm if there are more than 104 items in the blue magic auto-translate area? I was really hoping for a gnat WS. :|

I was just starting to consider the combinations I could use with my Chaos Burgeonet or my Gloom Breastplate >.>

the new int neckpiece seems nice, I can get rid of the philomath stole when i come back assuming it's not too high up there.

Kinda wish they had some more clubs made available to blu besides trial and perdu
