and sorry makelith that i didnt answer your invite, i get sooo many invites a day its insane, i have to appear offline sometimes because people want me for my rank...which will be commander very shortly!
i usually play with the same group of people every night, and invite people whom want me to join to fill in empty spots.

Same here, up on the top of construct. I didn't even attempt to get the laser one, it just kinda happened on snowbound. Was lasin a dude in the back corner from on top of the bunker (i guess youd call it that..) and some dude came out the front and jumped up to kill me, caught him in the top of the head and got the other dude. Then i kinda had to go do the meta ones to get 1k/1k

And yeah beatdown is ridiculous now. 1 AR or BR beatdown to the face takes your shields down all the way. And just look at the 2 SS i posted yesterday, i launched those people lol.

You should totally let me roll with you one time chasym. Or come roll with me and my team objective crew. Team slayer is pretty silly to me now after seeing how awesome they made assault. We could use two more people if anyone else is interested. :spiteful:

Also, dose anyone know when the clans patch will be released?
 
How is assault better now? Im only like 5 on objective and tactical. Im upto like 12 on doubles with a friend of mine and got upto 23 on team slayer with osiris yesterday.
 
They made it so the bomb plants automatically when you reach the placement node, and then a count down starts. You have to defend it for the countdown until it goes off and you get the point. If you are defending you can defuse the bomb and send it back to its spawn point at the other base. It makes for alot more dynamic/close finishes.
 
Ohh yeah, thats how it was in the beta and i havent played halo 2 in ages so i didnt think of it being different.
 
Make i am down for some team objective. Just let me know the good times to be on. Raider we can try to push up into the 30s if ya want. It is faaaar easier to lvl in this game. We may be easy 40s lol...

yeah, aside from when we had shitty people on our team im pretty sure we never lost. And even when we had shitty people you and me still did good. Lol at that one dude who was like 4 and 25 or some shit and we still only lost by 3.

Stuff like that really makes me wonder how someone would ever get to that high of a level, but at the same time i've had games almost that bad games, just because of the level. Whatever the level is that has like 5 floors so the motion tracker is useless and has the purple beams that bring you all the way to the top.

I can go +15 on Narrows, and then go like +1 or break even on that level.

Construct, easily the best map in the game, imo. Also, the motion tracker is very valuable for this level. Always assume the people are on your level then when you find out they aren't, look to make sure there isn't anything hear that could put them on your level. If there is a port, beam, etc., get ready for them.

The bane of my game time is Guardian but I manage to still have a positive ratio for all game types there XD I really, really, hate that map.

I am the exact opposite lol. I think Construct is by far the worst map in halo 3, and guardian is one of the best. High ground is probably my favorite with snowbound, last resort and guardian right there. I like narrows too.
 
32 in double team, 38 in team slayer, if any of you guys are good, lets play. I want 50.

Not a fan of objective/tactical, never have been.
 
i LOVE construct. takes skill and planning and easily the best map for me. my friends on the other hand hate the map, i dont know why tho! i just ended my night with two back to back triple kills on that level. Helped a friend get his commander rank and now im winding down for some sleep.
ill be working up a montage soon,
starting off with my triple kill snipe in last resort on 3 guys named montel williams lmao.
the worst map, Isolation.
 
Has anyone had a chance to play infection yet? I've really wanted to try it, but everyone is always in matchmaking and not custom games. Unless its in matchmaking too?

Also, lol to how easy it is to level up in this game. I went over to a friends house last night and we got to 40 in lone wolves. Never lost a match, and never placed below second pretty much.

Still don't have all the achievements either. Steppin' razor is a bitch.
 
I agree its pretty easy. Raidrx, a friend and myself pushed up to 32 today. Was not realy a challenge. Some times you get the matchup against 47s but meh lol. I was getting highly annoyed that we were getting locked into 3v3 matches.
 
You could take me, and my massive slayer skill of 11 (i think, maybe 9) and rape the shit out of some people, hahaha. Just let me get warmed up. Seriously...
