Official Halo 3 Thread - Halo > You

I brought mine to 5 and played like shit for a good 10 games. So I put it back to 3. The only problem with 3 is if someone jumps over you or walks underneath and you have to swing a 180, its too slow. But other than that, 3 works fine.

This is exactly why I'm at 7 now. 3 was still to slow of a turn around and at 5 my control was off just as much as if I jacked it up to 7 so I figured what the hell, I'll go with 7 and get use to it. Instead of sleeping I played a few more matches today and it's panning out quicker than I thought. Just havin' to tell myself every so often, "Do not slam the sticks, be smooth." The only thing I'm not happy with is my snipes. I'm a pretty decent sniper and that lil' dot goes way to fast for me... So I dunno, I may bump it back down because control is better than gettin' the few players a match that -might- get me in the back. When I used 1 I read my radar so well I normally wouldn't get ownd from the back so I'm still in the process of makin' sure this is a good move.
 
My, Osiris, and a couple of my friends got destroyed by a party of JP people. Yet more evidence that NAs need to bow to their JP masters. :crazy:

side note: I've never in my life time of halo played with a JP player.
 
Bungie.net is being silly and not working with my game history, but it was a pretty massive rape by them. They were totally spawn killing and had all weapons locked up before we could take a second territory.
 
I think bungie needs to do something about suicides. Like jumping over the edge affecting your score negatively. I am noticing in doubles people will be up by one point so they just start jumping over the sides over and over to make sure they win.

I agree. I was in a doubles match and they werent killing themselfs on purpose but i was coming up on this dude with a shotty so he man cannoned, but so did his partner from the other side and they hit eachother. Both died, but no negative points which was kinda gay.
 
We should have a Q server match. I want to kill some of you bastards :D

Dude, do you even know what a plasma grenade is? And I've played with osiris the most of people from qcdn, played a few games with make and a bit with tidy. Other than that no one from here.
 
Well this was on Constuct. They were up 7-6. They jumped over the edge near the yellowish elevator. I guess there are two ramps near there. One guy could do it to where he wouldn't die he would just sit out there on the little ramp. The other guy would slide down the ramp and hit the wall and die. He just kept doing it over and over and over. I have the video saved.

oh man im hyped, workin on my first halo 3 montage and i gotta say i have some sexy parts in there, This saved film feature absolutley makes my imagination go wild from doing the matrix to instant bullet following right into someones dome.
not to mention the first appearance of "The Comatose show" inspired by a guy i owned on last resort with a famous talk show hosts name. im takin my sweet time editing this so its all on cue, cant wait to get it on here for you all to view!
 
We should start playing with more Qcdn type custom matches. Would be fun. We do have some skilled players here anyways. Who knows maybe later when clans are moved into dashboard we would be worthy.
