This leads me to believe that dancers can do something to give another weapon a different weapon skill, maybe within the jobs in a party. Perhaps this is SE's way of trying to get back to skillchain, magic burst?

I doubt, it really, because if you watch again, the sections that showed the new ws's did not include a dancer in the party. Pretty sure they're just going to be new ws's.
 
So they are going to create Tachi:Kasha for sword? That's exactly what that animation is.
 
All I can say is damn school and work… Seeing the trailer makes me want to re-activate my account so badly it’s not funny.

Its a new animation, if not, it sure looks quite similar, rose blowing up with flower petals. Except new animation has the vine wrapping around the mob too.

has to be some dancer ability, entirely new ws or likewise. It wouldn't explain why a rdm would be doing a great katana weapon skill.

I dk, doesn't look as prismatic as Kasha does, looks more fluent, rounded off. It sure does burst just like Kasha though. I like the look of the new Gaxe WS. I have a feeling since these are all showing up to be 1-hitters in the video, that they are going to be quested somehow. I mean, which of our WS's look as nice as those? D:. I'm going to be pissed though if they suck lol... I mean, everyone likes flashy, but I wouldn't see the point of adding new ws's and then having them just totally blow. We have relic weapons for that.

I guess since they're both flowers that explode, by your guys' definition, Burning Blade and Tachi: Kagero are the same since they both involve fire.

No, Burning blade does not look like Tachi: Kagero

I wasn't indicating they're the same, just agreeing they have similarities.

Wonder what the next job will be o.o! Better than Dancer I bet ;o just because ....> > It has to be haha. C'mon SE o.o ....don't disappoint me...again.
 
I'm hoping for a Scholar type job. I think it can work well as a support.

Could be a mix of Calculator/Scholar o.o hmmm...."Lvl 5 Petrify"...from the Ahriman.
