PS3 Official Uncharted 2 thread.

Wicked awesome all the way thru,startin over on hard now but multiplayer has pretty much taken over at this point lol. Love the rank System gonna be a great distraction till CoD4/2 lands for sure. hit me up if yall are on im ususally on late night: mybulleturface
 
Finally got around to beating Uncharted 1 and started playing this. Its amazing, one of my fav ps3 games now definitely. I'm enjoying the bigger focus on combat in this game much more than the exploration stuff. I love it
 
I just started playing multiplayer on uncharted. Its so fun! Gonna keep me busy for a looong time
 
DLC Incoming! As well as Double EXP weekend.

PS3 owners will want to stay home on Black Friday. Why? Naughty Dog is releasing the first downloadable content for Uncharted 2's multiplayer mode this Friday, November 27th. A title update will add "The Fort," a brand new multiplayer map supposedly based on the "Fortress" chapter of Drake's Fortune. According to the press release, "The Fort is a long rectangular map with wide open spaces and excellent flank routes." There's a shotgun in the center of the map and an RPG in the crypt (the inevitable resting place of people on the wrong end of that weapon). Best of all, this update will be free.

Once the patch goes live at 1PM EST, Naughty Dog will also initiate a Double Cash weekend. Teams will have special skins in competitive matches: Doughnut Drake for the Heroes (pictured above), and Doughnut Lazarevic for the Villains.

Yeah I know. Can't complain about free stuff. I was just misled with it being called DLC lol
 
Jesus christ, I know its not wrong. I'm just used to larger DLC packs you pay for and get a lot out of. I was just confused for a bit, thats all.
 
I think I know why this new map is free. It sucks. At least... it's free?

But whatever. I can avoid a shitty map.

Speaking of DLC, I'd pay for some new co-op levels. That would be great and it wouldn't split the base as painfully as a map pack would.
 
Hey i was thinking of picking up this game as i just beat the first one, im guessing the second still has about 8-9hrs of gameplay. How is the multiplayer? Is it still popular after MW2 has come out and what not? Wondering if its worth the 60 bucks and not just a rental like the first one was imo.
 
I ain't spendin' another dime on this game. Every time I brave up to play some multiplayer I get in these shitty two bar Mexican/Euro rooms. Luckily the majority of the player base is garbage with a gun. Unfortunately that has taught them to be pros at throwin' off their grenades right before they die right in the most helpful of places.
 
Oooh, this could be fun. The heroes of PS3 skin pack was pretty nifty, but new maps and 12 new trophies? That's pretty awesome. I'm just glad I managed to get my Platinum trophy before this came out.
 
New DLC comes out soon with a new coop game type, 2 new maps, more skins and 11 trophies if I recall correctly. Pretty excited about it, anyone else snagging it?
