Oh boy this was a little devestatiting for me.....
Ok so this entire game I have tried to exhibit utmost courtesy.
Yesterday on the other hand, I did something that I myself have complained about. Stealing, not gil not a regular NM hunt I stole a force spawn NM.
Then to make matters worse, I got killed. Which in turn made that NM disappear. (it's the Goblin Archeologist by Crag-Holla). This thing takes a while to pop. Can only trade it so many items in a day.
Well right as I logged on I said hello to my LS. Just then one of the members told me to come to Crag Holla quickly. In my experience there is only one reason to go there quickly. ???= almost ready to pop. So I flee and just run like the dickens to get there.
Wouldn't you know...theres an entire party waiting there for it.
So I have killed this thing a couple few times at lower levels and had absolutely no problem, but I have heard mixed reports on its level. (lvl may be random)
So its about 4 hours prior to the next game day. Still not close enough to the surface to pop.
So I figured I would help out and move it closer to the surface. Well that plan backfired very miserably.
Instead I traded it too much and the damn thing popped.
It automatically aggros the person who traded it.
Well needless to say it started hitting me for 100-120 immediatly.
This in not good so I put up my flag and said invite me and I will leave!
Either they missed that part or they were just plain pissed off at that point so I just sat there and died.
Then as it always does, it disappears. Once activated it has to be killed or you be killed no others can attack it unless they are in your party and it will disappear as soon as that person or party is dead.
So i went to my HP and then the disheartening /tells began.
Here's my problem...I have never done any kind of stealing actually I consider myself extremely courteous in this game helping whenever I can.
But...I dont thing that party sees it that way.
On top of that they were all higher to High level characters which as we know run a pretty tight crew at thier levels. So hopefully I can redeem myself to them and maybe not be black balled by the high levels as I require thier help from time to time.
Warick- I am very sorry for that it was an honest mistake no matter how bad it looked.
All others in that party (I did not remember your names) also, I apologize.
