I rarely post on this flameboard but this is starting to get out of hand. Today I get a invite from a Warrior that was using that lvl 55 war gear at lvl 64. I knew from the gun things were going to be bad when he claimes he has no gil for even meat kaboobs. I mean this worthless sob didnt even have one piece of warrior AF on him. Then last week I get a invite from a DRG that was using all af, and no foods again!!! Now I'm not asking people to pack haub+1, and SH +1, but for christ's sake if you can't afford food to lvl, you need to stop exp'ing, and go farm a massive 60k. You lazy bastards, you can step out into fucking B.Downs and farm tiger fangs for 21k a pop. I'm sorry but if you piss poor jackasses like Mikeman can't afford the job, go lvl one that doesn't require decent expensive gear, or put some pride into your shit.
I really think we need a thread listing these Magical Short Bus Wearing retards, cause they know they suck, and the only way they get invites is if they make the party themselves. I got some info for ya cheap ass exp leeches, even at 75 in that worthless 55 gear, you're still going to suck, put some fucking pride into your shit and stop wasting my time. Oh, and one more thing, there is NO EXCUSE TO HAVE A GIMPED SUB by 4 lvl's AT LVL 64, I DONT GIVE A SHIT IF YOURE A RDM OR NOT. I really wish we could pack these people up and move them to a server of their own were Simmie is equal to Kirin to them.

Ya know, ive ran into some paticular newbish peeps, but never have I seen someone say, I'm to poor for food. I've seen opps or Ahh crap I forgot my food (hell ive done that before myself) but never I'm to poor for food. That illustrates a new lvl of silliness to put it mildly.
 
It's always hilarious why they'd say they're too poor for a chocobo, even after the update and chocobo prices are never that expensive.
 
i've refused to pay 4k for a chocobo at tele-mea before and just ran.

then there are cool peeps like hauce that offer to pay for the members chocobo's because he'll just steal gold beastcoins from the gobs to pay for it lol.

I'm not talking about the 4-5k chocobo prices before the update, I'm talking about the 2-400 gil prices. Hell, I've had them say they couldn't afford the 80 gil in kazham before.
 
This warrior was just utter crap, he couldn't even do a skillchain. We wanted him to set the sata up on the ninja by voking on the pull, and used a crossbow (that he missed everytime) insted of voke. Just trust me on this people, avoid that noob at all costs. When he ask's you to party, just reply, "Shouldn't you be farming for gear?"

i know i was just making a reference to what i've done. that is kind of sad though, i mean geez you can make enough gill for a chocobo in 5 minutes just slater a train of beastman

Once again I'm going to play devil's advocate...

Question: Does the person have a job already to 75, or for that matter multiple jobs to 75 like many of us on the board do?

Question 2: Would you ever stop to help this person if they would boldly ask you for help with their AF quests? The reason that I ask is because I know that I could not solo my WHM AF. I know that my gear was not great. I often needed a lot more help because whm's are notorious for being poor farmers and I might not have been as aware of what things were good for making gil.

During this time I also would cast sneak and invisible on the majority of my party members as only the "rich guys" had oils and powders. Mithkabobs were also a lot cheaper during this time, as was other foods.

I am generally not compassionate to a total lack of effort, but sometimes we don't give people the benifit on the doubt on whether or not they're simply ignorant of their options. -- I am curious on whether or not the guy seriously could become better with help or even advice on not only that he should be out farming.. but perhaps a bit of advice on what to farm or where to go for help on getting his AF done. Though, I know most players don't want to shoulder the burden.. but, I will actually see if I can find him in game.
 
Bah, lol@self, reminds me of one time I got together a PT for the CN, and decided on the way out to bid all my gil on a new Katana (still substantially less than price history) and got it. The feeling of elation at getting a good deal soon boomeranged back in my face, when I got to the stables and realized i had 0 gil. Nothing quiet as humbling as having a pt of rank3s giving you grief as you have to run to the nest.

Ya also dont always NEED food to do your job, if appropriately equipped. Im really not embarrased to say that I never use food on my BLM or rdm anymore. Cookies, maybe, but Ive put enough time and money into my gear that I dont worry about resists or dmg anymore. Melee really see a substantial performance boost from food though, i agree.

Finally, I hate seeing melee downing oils and powders every zone. I have no problems tossing out a sneak or two when We hit Ro'Maeve; why waste an oil if you have a mage w you?

Thier AF isn't my problem, especially when exp'ing. A exp party isn't a help center for those that need it. I expect people to have their shit together BEFORE I lvl with them. If I helped doing everyone's AF I'd never would get anything done. The point is, get off of your ass and go farm for gil. Stop expecting people that have put the time in to carry your ass to 75. Lvling whm is a whole new ball game, you can lvl whm to 75 naked and almost get away with it.
As for "The Rich People" that bring their oils and powders, please, thats just a given. With today's ecomony 40-60k is a drop of water in the bucket. Its a total lack of being curtious to not leech off other people. If you don't got 60k in gil at 65 you seriosly need to go farm and have issues. Like I said, if you can't afford to lvl it, choose a different job. The idea of a party is team work to gain the common goal which is exp. If you expect people to carry your ass, you're a leech, not a team player.
