and i know that the best computer on the market now will be outdated in a few weeks or so, but... what would everyone's dream computer be? a list would be helpful with specific names and data! and this computer would be mainly used for gaming. your posts are appreciated. thank you in advance.
 
Alienware=WASTE of MONEY!!

You can build the same system for half the cost.

One of there more top of the line computers costs around $6,500.

Do you know what kinda PC you could build with that kinda cash?

It would be pretty damn bad ass.

Build your own or find a friend that can.

^^ This is the cream of the crop when it comes to PC coolers, I spent $275 for this thing but the over-clocking potential is through the roof. (it also cools your graphics card) SWEET!!

I am just waiting on my final hardware parts to come in the mail then I will be able to have my super system.

I haven't ordered it yet but I am considering a couple.

Sony PremierPro SDM-P232W/B 23 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor @$1600

or the cheaper version

Iiyama Vision Master 22'' Monitor @ $600

now don't get me wrong I'm not rich by any means but I have saved for this stuff since the construction and purchase of my last one.

Some of it I had to put on the ol' credit card too. (sucks but hey you can't pay everything outright)

so this just about sums it up I am still waiting on some other parts but when they come I am back in business...........til next year.

Also, not sure if I'm going with AMD or Pentium this time I have always been a little partial to AMD though.

The next PC I build or buy will probly have an AMD 64-bit processor. I suppose I'll wait until Windows XP 64-bit edition is released and proven though.
 
My dream computer is one that will do my chores while I play FFXI on it, and it comes with auto-matic DSL, fast connection, an out-standing memory and graphics card, also it CAN never slow down, and it destroys viruses faster than you can pick up a pencil to write all this down! It would be so kool! =P

Think of it..you get to see the NM spawn 2 seconds faster than ANYONE!
