Well.. back on the 1st I got into a car accident and while my '92 Nissan Stanza could get fixed probably for around $500 or so(dunno for sure), I didn't want to bother spending the money to get if fixed up. I've been saving money for a long time now and I had planned on going to shop for a new car towards the end of August...

However, the accident kinda forced me to push that plan ahead a bit. So I rented a car the same day and had it for 10 days, and on the 11th (which thankfully worked out to be a Saturday, so no class) I went car shopping.. but didn't really shop that much. I knew what I wanted to get, only I was expecting to get a slightly used car. Instead I got a brand new '07 Nissan Altima for about what I was looking to spend on a used one, albeit it was at the top of my price range. I'm extraordinarily happy with my purchase so far. I've had it for exactly a week. :3

I was all like Altima wtf is that. Seems its a Primera. Nice choice my dad was going to buy one but ended up with a fully body kitted Seat Leon 2.0 TDI instead. Now that thing accelerates like a bitch.
 
^^ Thanks for the responses, well... except Khidir since he's a goober. I really like the car so far, gas mileage is freaking sweet. I've put about 300 miles on it since I got it and its just below half a tank. My old car would have needed refueling several days ago.

It's not super fast, as far as the acceleration goes because I got a 2.5 instead of the faster 3.5 model. But.. the 3.5 was just too much for me to afford. ;-;

The car is fast though, for some reason I feel like when I'm going 80mph I'm just not really going that fast. The speedometer goes up to 160mph and if I ever find a road long enough without police or other cars around, I'll give that a shot.

As far as modding goes.. Uh.. I'm not much of a modder, so chances are I wont be modding anything on the car. Now.. I'll probably add a few things, but nothing with the engine. I was thinking about getting a new stereo system put it in, but damn.. the standard one is pretty damn nice. At anyrate, all that will have to wait for when I have more time and money and also probably when the car is fully paid off too.
 
YaY Ecks gots a new car, Saving money really does help, If I get money, I spend it right away. D:
 
Er, why? There's no real practicality of a coupe when you have a plethora of friends who like to go places. That ran through my head when I bought my vehicle this year, up from my 03' Coupe Cavalier. While it looked nice and sporty, it was hardly practical for that same situation...

Good move Ecks, nice vehicle. Altima's are nice. I bought an '07 Cobalt SS earlier in the year.
 
I checked the Coupe out, looked cool and all but just didn't have the room I was looking for. Then again, they never do. Hell of a sporty looking car though.

And a '08 o.o Sorry I don't think i had quite that much money. And I kinda dont wanna be paying off this car for a really long time. >.>;

^^; Thanks. It is a nice car, though I'm finding out that silver gets dirty looking pretty quick. ><;; I still <3 my car though.
