Old people who drive.

I'm totally cool with old people, nothing against them. That is untill they drive like a fucking idiot. I think that they should know when they can make concious decions and stop driving. I have been in 3 accidents ALL WITH OLD PEOPLE! Here are the three.

Numba 1 The Bronze Medal: Drivin next to this old lady in a Ford. Im cruzin listenin to music. She does not see me and TURNS into my car. I drive a Xterra, big tall car, hard to miss. I was fine, but she didnt have insurance and i had to pay for my car... Thats is the first one i tell you...

Numba 2 Close second: I'm stopped at a red light(Just pulled up). Then about 5 seconds after i stop, a car pummels into the back of me. Was a old man in is 90s. I mean jesus your 90 years old. He had insurance and covered the damages. I was not hurt but he had a heart attack i think. He is fine also.

Numba 1 MACK DADDY: This shit totaled my car, put me in a cast for a 2 months. Driving again lights green so i go threw it. *BWAM!* fucker does not stop at all going forty and slams into the back side end of my car, i go into the opposite lane facing on-coming traffic.(They all had time to stop). This guy was in his 70s early 80's. He asked me what the hell I was doing. THat was a bad fucking day.

This one does not get a medal: (this one is like numba 3) Was in the car with my mom and a old lady also side swipped her brand new x3 BWM... I mean they are not quick enough to drive anymore. Physicaly they cannot do it.

Last point, they drive so fucking slow, its a 40 and they do 25...

Get off the road your taking lives...

Anyone else think of that South Park episode as soon as they saw the title? Yeah I agree totally, old people should be tested once a year after the age of 60, 65, to make sure they are still capable of driving, and as soon as they aren't they should have their liscenses taken away. There's alot of bullshit accidents caused by old people that are totally ridiculous for ever happening.

YES LOL!! Old people go OUT OF THEIR WAY to get into accidents and kill people.

My dad is getting to that age of oldness, hes like 55 or something and he goes fast on the roads..but once hes on the highway he goes like 40 and yells at me if I go any faster and I'm like "Um..no"

I heard on Bob and Tom that this guy who was like 105 years old went to the bmv to see if he could pass the driving test and he did, I hope to god he isn't driving o.o
 
they need to have a law of minimum speed limits
 
Even if their was a minimum speed limit, how pissed would you be to pull up behind someone that is going the minimum?
 
Theres this specific road that I drive on to go to one of the towns around here, speed limit is clearly 55 (there are like, 3 signs) but people drive 40. I just want to slap everyone on the road, because on the way back on this road, everyone actually speeds, at about 65.

Oh yeah, and I hate the people that straddle both lanes. (when theyre not drunk) Not that drunk people are better, but the sober people dont have a reason to straddle...

Speaking of old people, there was this "joke" I read a few weeks back... Theyre losing their hearing, sight, they fall asleep at the drop of a hat, have slow reflexes, and several other things.... But are still allowed to drive.

Kinda on the same track - I'm tired of all the god damn drivers that don't stay on their side of the road. I mean seriously, does it really take that much effort to turn your cars steering wheel 10 degrees more to the right?
 
As I've been saying for a while, we need a better public transportation system across America. In every state. Old people that can't drive would take it all the time - it would be just like it is here in Hawaii! Old people taking the bus, while the teenagers get awesome cars that their parents buy for them and then drive around looking for old people to hit.
 
We need people to chauffer old people. Id do it for like $8 an hour, who cares, its seriously retarded that we allow old folks to drive.

I was in the car with my grandmother who was driving, and she ran a stop sign, swerved around a car obeying the law, and took out a tree. To this day, I dont care if shes driving me down the street 1 block (not like she does anymore, ive been driving my own vehicle for 2 years), i HAVE to drive if its with her. Ill NEVER ride passenger in any old persons car ever again... EVER. Its just too risky.
 
You got into three accidents with people and say its their fault?

Maybe you ought to take a bus.

I agree lol it's like "wtf are you doing?" I've also had a few people who turn left, turn into my lane (see diagram, THEM is where th driver is, turning left, what I'm saying is that when they turn left, they turn into the lane that says ME, the incorrect lane..almost crashing into my front end)
