Hey everyone, I played FFXI for a couple years off and on on quetzalcoatl. I am considering coming back cause WoW is getting boring and I need a change. I am looking for people that I used to play with to see if they still play at all. So, if Nekoi, Empyrean, Durandarte, Tofuman, or anyone that knows them come here I would appreciate knowing if they still play because friends were the best part of the game for me. Thank you.
 
I never seen any of those players, I can do a quick /sea all right now for them...

Nope, none on but they could just be offline now anyways, hope you find at least one of them still playing. Welcome back too!
 
Thanks, havent quite decided if I am coming or not. I both loved and hated the time i spent there lol. Would really like to see some old friends still around before i decide. Thanks for checking for me.
 
Nekoi ringsa bell...but I don't think I've seen that name in a long, LONG time...
 
I would say wait till the expansion, but if you come back now, you could possibly grind a couple of jobs to 40ish and then you can enjoy some of the new content that will be introduced when it first comes out.

Nekoi is in my Dynamis shell havent seen him for a week,but I usually run across him Wednesday and Saturdays.
 
I think I was in a shell with Empyrean at one point... Don't know what happened tho
 
hmm, nekoi in a dynamis shell :( that means he wouldnt have time to run across the world to raise me when i die in places i shouldnt be lol. all my friends have grown up so much :)
 
Pretty sure Empy still plays and is in Kaizen and I did a check now [3:38AM PST] and Tofuman is on.

I guess that accounds for all your friends ^^

I don't know you personaly but i saw you character a lot in lower jeuno.
 
Hey LilP! Yes Nekoi still plays regularly. I havnt looked for Durandarte so I dont know about him. Tofuman still plays as well, and Empy is on sometimes... but I think shes mostly dealing with real life issues right now. Good to see you around again. :)

Yeah what Seraa said... For some reason seeing you post made me remember about the Pita clan...
 
I remember all 4 of those people, but I haven't seen Tofu or Durnadarte for a long long long long time. Empy is still around to the best of my knowledge
 
Yeah, Tofu still plays. I've seen Durandarte every now and again. And Empy is still on.
 
thanks for the replies everyone, just tried reinstalling and my discs dont seem to work, now i gotta decide if I wanna actually spend money. :( I will probably figure it out soon though.

oh, and hey seraa, didnt realize it was you who posted :) how is the economy goin? how much will my O. Kote cost this time lol. I think I decided to play again at least til the wow expansion comes out. now to get a world pass.
 
Yeah, I'm friends with Empy, and I havn't seen her in awhile. I think whoever said she had real life issues is right. Before I havn't seen her for awhile, she said she moved across the country to be w/ her boyfriend, so she could still be getting things situated and what not.

Edit : Its good to have you back pineapple :) I don't think you even know me (my old character's name is Kiwi) but I remember being in atleast one party with you :P . Anyways, If I can help out and you see me on, gimme a tell on Jagan. :)
