Oldest piece of equipment you own

I still have the rabbit mantle and some pot that my buddy Quetzacoatl (that was his name oddly enough, didnt even know what server he was gonna land on, and gave me my WP to this server) gave me like my 2nd day of existence wayyy back in the day. Im not even friends with the kid anymore but i still have the mantle haha.
 
My Bastok ring.. also, if you look at hume male (not sure about female) with blm af hat on, the back part of the model about halfway up is completely messed up. It sticks up instead of following the curve of the model. It's always annoyed me. :/
 
I have had my windy ring and wing pendant longer than anything now that I think about it, i take back my previous post :)
 
It may not be my oldest piece of equipment... but i'd have to say my Scorpion Harness has the most significance. i got it last year in august after farming for it. all 5.2mil of it. not camping nms. farming. i spent countless upon countless hours farming 30k/stack beastmen blood in pashow marshlands and 20-30k jellie oil in korroloka. no joke, from like the time school got out to august... like 2.5 months or so, i'd spend sometimes days at a time, bringing in stacks at a time (i think i brought home 15 stacks of jelly oil once...)

from that point onward i swore i'd get my gear by working hard(got dragon harness and blau dolch in similar ways. lol) and although i've traded the original SH for a signed one, i'll always have a scorpion harness. its a symbol for me :)

I noticed it only because I have a tendancy to spin the camera as fast as I can around myself whenever I'm healing, zooming in and out cause I can, regardless of where I am. This stems from my paranoia. Since most of my ffxi career has been a soft and swishable whm, /healing has always been a "panic" moment. Almost every time I think I'm safe - solo, I'm healing in corner, I've spun the camera and seen nothing, I walk away for one second, and bamm, goblin sword through the chest or something to that degree. Only when I am in a city will I comfortably /heal and walk away from my pc. Even as pld, layered in armour, where everything surrounding me is {too weak.} I'm still twitchy.

Probably one of the oldest NA pieces of gear still hanging around, a Fungus Hat that i bought for 10k (and farmed my ass off for) when i was a RDM14/ no sj, a couple of weeks after the NA release. I wore it all the way to garliage (lolnoob). Still got it in my MH.
 
LuShang Fishing Rod (April 2004) since its the only thing I kept on my account when I quit for 3 months over the Summer of 04'.
 
The belts that turn you into a rabbit/mandy/worm have to be my oldest items... I still use them now and then. Its great to scare noobs in each country...
 
My oldest peice of gear would be a Sand Charm i got on my 8th or 9th day playing from my second Boat ride.
 
Man I don't even know... I don't keep old gear, really. Guess my oldest piece are my Wizard's Sabots. The single most useless piece of blm gear I own.
 
Windurstian Ring. Had it when I started.

Aside from that, my Ice staff that Villarel gave to me so I would go party with him (I had said no to his invite and my excuse was "No Ice Staff".)
 
Heko Obi +1 & Compound Circlet

I bought them both at the same time on my 2nd day of playing on my first character, and I still have them.
 
my old peices whould be my mithra rse1 set and my leaping boots. My oldest item however is my adventuring certificate.
