Oldest piece of equipment you own

I think mine is the Grudge Sword (i think thats the name) and Jennet Shield combo i use for pld bc40's...otherwise it'd be RSE...I think
 
Oldest would be the San D starting ring and the good old trusty onion sword.
 
Windy starting ring and Windshear Hat. I never, ever throw away Rare/EX gear.
 
probably thoes mithra panties i stole when i 1st started playing . . . i mean, i don't know i would have to look
 
I spent my first hour playing ffxi just exploring Windy, and I saw someone with a "blood stone" in his bazaar for 1 gil. An hour or so later, I had joined the star onion brigade and was given a "justice badge." Both of those items are still in my MH.

That aside, the only old gear I really kept was stuff Mish bought me. Oldest being the purple belt. I think the conversation at the time was something like "Holy crap, that was 18k!? How did you afford something so expensive?" We have these conversations still, just add 0's. =P

hmm i tossed all that rse gear but i have a fungus hat that i bought for like 25 k i think or so and the whole time i was like i want that hat so bad it is so cool and my character will kick so much ass with that hat then i bought it and i was like this hat does absolutly nothing and i was a whm and i wore that hat till i was lvl 50 and got a tactaction magicians hat then i got af but i still have that fungus hat in mh i almost sold it the other day acctually but i didnt it was my first expensive piece of armor lol 25k i cant belive i wore that damn thing till 50 lol geez i was a noob
 
The oldest peice of equipment i own is my Lanturn Sheild i was given when i was 1st starting out, I was in Rorixx's LS at the time and he had just gotten to Leaping boot drops in a row and had some spare money, He bought it for me and i havent sold it to t his day. (i have farmend the Lanturn Shield NM and sold about 5 that have dropped but ive never sold the one that was given to me)

I was a lv19 WAR no sub when i got that Shield and that was over 2 years ago, Ror Also gave me a Longsword and a Beetle harness at the same time :D but Both i sold to upgrade my stuff

I always kept my Chaosbringer in my storage....
 
My oldest Piece would be my Justice Badge and my Zenith Mitts, still have them in storage for low level events.

Other than those (they don't count IMO)...

A brass hairpin +1 that Ose crafted for me for Christmas last year, and a pair of Linen slops given to me by Hornless for Christmas last year.
