What happened was:

I passed alliance leader, made sure it went through to him, then disbanded, but the game didn't register me passing lead yet, so the whole alliance disbanded, we lost one Behemoth Hide. Oh no, 40k each per person lost! Shit happens, and I rushed, idc. Any more replies to me and don't expect answers, later! (and yeah, I'm still cool with Vang, should it matter? It's a game, not a fucking way of life, kill me for bein a friend of his)

Oh and about disbanding an alliance which contained a single Behemoth Hide...Yeah it was a mistake and more so of a fuck up than me giving out TOD's.

This server has never seen drama, this is all childs play.

I'm pretty sure that there's no "are you sure?" confirmation, at least not on PS2. It'd be a pretty useful just-in-case feature though...

You also don't get the option to disband while you're an alliance leader. If the game somehow didn't register the change of leader there wouldn't be a Disband option...
