Yeah u might be seeing me on the tube in 2008 (in bejiing) i am sooooo psyched!!!!!!!!!!!

But first i have to make the school team
i've been training all week and i am REALLY out of shape (FFXI Diet lol)

So in 2008 look for me on the olympic team

*i'll keep you posted on wether or not i make the team*

Not to piss on your parade, but by 2008 they will remove field hockey from the olympic games, and rightfully so imho anyway. There has been quite some discussion about too many "new age" disciplines being permitted to the games, which historically weren't about field hockey and horeback riding, and kajak and whatever.

Having said that, good luck on getting on the school team. Good start.

/gets field hockey stick well then i'm going to protest :P

Historically speaking Olympic Games were not about team effort, but about the effort of individuals. These days Sync-Basket-Weaving is probably an olympic discipline as well, and that just makes the games suck. In addition you have athletes who change citizenships like others socks just to find a country that will send them to the games. It's become the biggest periodic bullshit in human history, but of course that is just my opinion and others are welcome to disagree.

Someone I knew once described the olympics as "nothing more than an excuse for embarrassing flagwaving jingoism. In lycra."

Lycra ; ;

Anesly, who thinks the olympics are annoying, except for oddball sports that make her giggle.

Like curling?
The very day a broom became a piece of "athletic equipment" was the day I lost all faith in humanity.

Synchronized Diving, YUCK!

Yes! I love curling :D Great amusement/giggle value.

Yeah that shit makes me laugh soooo hard. I had the "priveledge" of watching some curling live when I was in Canada.

I laughed the ENTIRE time.

Those guys are WAY too intense with that sport, and for that it adds to the entertainment value of the whole gig.

Later,

Mohoso

Makes me wonder what you had to do to get it, after you didn't make the team this year ...., I mean aren't there going to be new try-outs next year?

Sculli no padding your post count with mindless junk like that.

I mean c'mon we all know how he really got that "spot" on the tiam. oh wait theres no I in team.
