OMFG the secret to AV?!

As I said, hes not meant to be killed yet, just like JoL was prepatch. :|

Right he's like the steak on the end of the stick tied to your back. Chasing after a kill will not get any closer to beating him, it will only make us tired.

She was beatable before the patch. They never really nerfed her that much, people just found out how to kill her.

She's hard at the begining, but there's a secret to it, which is rather natural and one of the reason people believe that killing AV's Wynavs make him weaker.

They killed around 40 of his Wynavs, and then he suddenly stopped spawning more. It was either a glitch, or its the way to kill him.

However, since he got his abilities back at the 50% mark, people got confused as he used Benediction to heal himself for 48k HP. Hopefully he can only use benediction once while spamming the other ones, and we won't really find out untill more people try him. Most likely SE messed up though and made him slighltly too hard. Personally, I think they can nerf him a little to make him atleast beatable, but they better still leave him hard, otherwise everyone and their mom will run around with the Virtous Saint title and AV items.

Uzor, you cant deny JoL's regen was massively nerfed. :|

Btw he used benediction 2-3 times yesterday, other times before getting to 50%. Which is why I say he isnt meant to be beaten yet.

Beat AV last night. Solo. Just took a bottle of wine, some candles, Barry White (live) crooning in the background, and a heaping pile of unbridled tarutaru passion.

Who's your daddy?

even if someone kill him .. i hope he wont reraise like the other Ix'aerns

her regen decreases as you kill more of her summons (JoL). By the time she only summons sharks, she's like killing a normal Yovra with some extra spells.

When you first start to fight her, the regen is insane and you can barely dent her.

heh, we should get like 200 players all level 75, in the most decked out HP gear we could find. sleep everyone to 300% TP, pop AV, main alliance CFH on his ass, then everyone Spiritswithin his ass.

Granted, no drops, but hell, to kill a prepatch HNM that's seemingly un-killable would be funny as hell.

Another way to do this, would to have two alliances rotate out. One being a BLM party, the other, A Spirits within burn party, and a 3rd Alliance that was for curing. (IE: 1 whm per party for buffs etc, the outside healing alliance would be for keeping everyone alive only).

Have a 4th (or 5th) alliance for the wyvern's. I think that would work out easily enough...

But to get a SS of 200 People hiting AV with Spirits Within would be something that would be a nice memory for Quetz!

He used Benediction somewhere between 50-53% HP for 48k-something, so let's assume he have 100k HP with insane regen.

So let's say everyone spirits within for 800 HP, that's 160k HP... could work actually XD But that's assuing EVERYONE is at full health when they use it, which will most likely now be the case since he like to cast all of his spell at close to chainspell speed T.T

once he's poped, everyone time it, run in, all PLD's shield bash (or who ever mages are, stun) WHM from each part uses their 2 hour, then all use Spirits Within!

It's not so much for anything, it would be for just the fact he was killed ^^;

only problem is that he's immune to stun, although they say stun WS's work... but those are kind of sucky to the level they're simply not worth it <.<;

Stun will never stop his 2hrs. They dont have a cast time, they are instant. So he will simply use them after all the stuns are over :|

don't think he was talking about stunning his 2-hours, but rather his spells :P

Shield bash causes stun on spells, but with say 50 people all using Shield bash (being variations in lag and such) they should provide just 'enough' gap to pull off the majority of the whm's Two hours and the Spirits Within.

Hell, if that's not enough, just everyone down an Wing and do a 100% Spirits within. 180 people with 100% Spirits, is about 150 damage each, that's an extra 27000 Damage.

There would be no drops, or title, just a SS of 200 people taking out AV for a server win!

Anyone who thinks stun WS's suck should be forced to fight Diabolos, the 40-cap one, with no DRK. Because stun WS's work. Especially SAMs, they have TP almost all the time, and Tachi: Hobaku is very reliable at stunning. Hell, I've stunned Breakga in dynamis with Shoulder Tackle (actually trying, not just pure luck).

Now I'm saying this imagining you're not talking about uber-HNM fights where 90% of WS's will miss without SA. Because that'd just be silly.

Smash axe ftw! thats why i like war/nin in promyvion and enm's, because smash axe does a shitload of damage to the Memory recepticles, and stuns empty seed^^

Well, i'm not talking about WS's... I'm talking about the PLD's ability "Shield Bash". IE: You can't miss it. it's a direct hit and possibly causes stun, however does stun if done to an enimy during the 'middle' of the spell. (it doesn't stop the mob from casting, but does cause the interupt). The chances increase with 'that many' Shield bashes. That, plus... shield bash does do damage. Also, I've never seen Spirits Within Miss (personaly, not saying it 'can't'). But it directly ignores defense, and is a one hit deal (not saying anyone doesn't know that :P just saying for my own benifet ^^; ) so you don't have to pray that Rampage, Vorpal Blade, (insert any multihit WS) hits 1 or 2 hits to do some damage.

WS stun is unreliable in 'some' cases (on HNM's), but they do work very well with BCNM's and mobs. (Flat blades saved my butt many times ^^; ). Either way, I'm talking about AV for this, and using Spirits Within to just do instant killer damage, from all the people that can use it, just to kill him

stun WS's doesn't always cause stun, and in most cases (like AV in this case) doing more damage would be better since he casts so friggin' fast.

That is, of course, assuming AV doesn't resist Spirit damage like CoP Wyrms do. >.>

hmm, that's weird, Spirits Within isn't supose to be able to be resisted... If that's the case, use the modifier and get some MND rings and gear, since that's the stat SW uses.

But didn't know the COP Wyrms could resist that damage, thanks for the info ^^ I'll remember that.
