I think there is just a whole lot of misunderstanding in this thread.....and thats an understatement.

If something sneaky and underhanded were to happen to a player who actually played the game for what it was meant for, and was an actual REAL player, then yes....it would be pretty jacked up for someone to do that.

Now, when you see a gilseller who works in the business...and not some random player who just sells his gil to IGE or what have you.....BUT an actual person who works at "Gilseller Central" or whatever the hell it may be, it is not one person who play's the character. It kinda goes like this.

LVL75 WAR named "Flytosky"

@12pm "Person A" comes into work and relieves "Person E" from playing "Flytosky". "Person A" does what his boss wants him to do....be it camping Enkelados...or selling the bracelets.

@4pm "Person B" comes into work and relieves "Person A" from playing "Flytosky".

You see...."Flytosky" is but a tool used in their work to get what they need to get done and obtain their gil to sell. You can almost compare "Flytosky" to a presser that is used to counterfeit money in real life. If used by a group....not one person uses, and what its used for is to do something that hurts the community.....similer to our community. Doing both are agaisnt the rules. And if someone screwed over "Flytosky" and traded the kris for the Enky. bracelets it would be like some kind off good samaritan walking in and breaking the press. That guy just did his part in helping the community to be a better place.

I really suck at explaining things and hope....that you can kinda see what I'm talkin about.

In their line of work, a gilseller will do whatever it takes to get gil......WHATEVER it takes. RMT is agaisnt the rules.....I dont care how much you love to go out and buy gil cause your so lazy....its agaisnt the rules. RMT is wrong. Its a bad way for a person to make their money. If you got that guy who happened to be playing "Flytosky" at that moment, fired, then he should just go and get a different job.

Flame me if you want to....if it makes you feel better. But that wont change the truth of the matter. Now, if someone with cold hard facts knows better, then by all means. I'm all up for learning something new. But, as far as I know and have learned.....this is how it goes down.

Now for ppl who dont work in RMT, who play the game, even if they are complete ass-tards, I dont think they should get this kind of treatment. But gilsellers.....yea.....its a big problem. And many of us know, its a problem that will perhaps never go away....but the little guy can always do his part and hurting the evil empire. ;)
 
FYI, i would ONLY do something like this to RMT (sorry been busy irl havent been able to check my thread). People who know me, know i wont screw over anyone who isn't RMT. Honestly i was just playing around, didnt think they would be dumb enough to do something so stupid. One thing i dont want outta this is people thinking i'd scam them outta trades or anything like that. I'm not that type of person to do that to an actual player...

for one you have no proof that he bought gil and even if he did i would not care. why you ask? His action does not effect anyone.if anything it would help people because there now 1 more leather crafter in vaideil. Not to mension he take mad gil out system and spread wealth around to people who farm mats that cant get from guilds. The money is still in the system it might have been taken out system for a period time but still the money was always there. this would be just like if jsoft <has over 300mil> wa to suddenly wanting to buy a secound kraken now he had his money out system for months then he just dumped 200mil on a club. there for now someone else is 200 mil richer and someone 200mil poor but has a shiney new club. Gil seller do the same thing. They place item for sale then take gil from items and distibute to though who buy. If anything meeze you should be praiseing rmt because there be alot more so called gimp people in this game which you use to whine about all the time.
Now the whole cristmas fansicale and the febuary crash. Well let see school was out, people was home from work = lots time to play. Now i amit that alot people probley bought gil I would be nieve to say they didnt but they are not the main fault for the sudden uprising of prices it many factors that came about, As for feb. crash yes people panic and started selling all they had because they fear the price was going drop. Just like stoke market when that report come in that the winter froze the orange crop people start dumping stokes like they where the pleage. There is nothing worse yhen a theif im sorry but I hope karma come back on you 10 fold for what you did to that player.:mad:

Isnt the fact that gil isnt a physical entity or whatever the reason RMT companies are able to traffic it without being booted? If so, legally, Sev didnt steal a thing.

40M taken from sellers that they now cant sell, in essence drives up prices on gil eBay, which discourages people to buy it. Some would say 40M is pennies to RMT, but if so, then stfu, you're making a bigger deal about it than Arise is.

Asking him to drop if would be absurd. It would solve nothing except maybe to satisfy the people who wish they could have done it to Arise instead...in other words, they didn't get it so they don't want him to.

If sellers didn't try to jack prices and instead sold their items at - let's say, the average of the last 10 sold, and merely made some money while introducing more items into the market, that's cool, but not price-jacking. Screw with others and get screwed with.

People need to pull their heads outta their butts every once in a while, don't ya think? Why get so fanatical about this. :banned:

When he was trying to sell his account on ebay he put how much gil he bought and the reason he did. I confronted him about it in an alliance where he admitted he bought gil. He also boasted about how the farmers and people who earned their gil were losers, when all he had to do was buy his in game wealth. Search his name and you'll find some threads here about it.

I will never praise a gil buying scrub for his good gear, I worked this game and came up, I deserve to have better gear than the person who doesn't.

And how fucking hard is it for your 3rd world ass to understand. If there weren't all these gil buyers, prices wouldn't go up because their gil would either be stuck in some gil sellers mule, or some rich in game persons account.

It genuinely upsets me that everyone has a SH or a Haub, when they haven't stopped level whoring since they got their sub job. They don't deserve to have the top end gear, and that is why it pisses me off to no end when people leave end game shells after getting items with minimal work.

You can tell who the hard workers are, the ones who grind it out for their shells every week to get their LS members items. People that show up to every Charby camp to get their LS mates Joyeuse.

Earlier today I saw something, commercial maybe, that said "70% of success is showing up". Think about that statement, then think about why you'll never own a Dalmatica.

Gaebo was in a linkshell I was in for a while and was very public about buying gil there as well.
 
On a related note, I really don't have the time to read through 18 pages worth of who all was out of line in this thread. Just because one person started to post FB material doesn't make it a free for all to everyone else.

You get off the hook cause I am on a tight work schedule and have to put in a few more hours right now, but ffs, keep FB stuff to the FB, not that hard!!!

Next time -> Read-Only, and if I have to stay up all night to sort it out. This sort of thread development is simply not acceptable outside the Flameboard.
