OMG Einherjar!!

Question on Einherjar.

Is there any difference in difficulty between the 6 and 36 people runs? As in, is it proportionately changed or not. Also, does anyone know if the drops change, or is it too early to tell.

Short answer: NO, YOU DIE WITH 6 PEOPLE. HORRIBLY.

I don't see a single party being able to do much of anything. Simply need brd sleep for undead, rdm sleep for what brd can't sleep. Some blink tanks, and pld tank or 2. Need blms for high def mobs (like elementals). etc etc.

With random mobs, you realy need something of everything. So looking at 12-18 minimal I think. Or get lucky with easyer mobs.

If thay not totaly random and all have the same, I could see a few being spamed unfortunaly. Till room 10 is open. At that point, it will matter less, cause I'm shur the best items will be there. Weather it be 5 abjs garenteed, or new great equip.

Should also get a % of the time a abj will drop from chest. wonder if its like 10%

Who knows, when they make the other rooms available, maybe they'll release some new Abj;s that Sam/Drg/Cor/Pup/Blu/Mnk/Thf/Bst/Rng might want...

PS: Am I the only one who misses STILL not getting Colosseum or The Pit? I thought I read somewhere that they were supposed to put it in this update, what gives?

Thats a bit lame. If 6 people cant really do it, why bother giving the option. Make it less of a "haha you could try with 6 people but wont get anything!" and just make it that you need 20-30 to get anything done. Which it is anyways... go SE.

Its a little early to be making claims about how many people you can low-man this with.

I'd still like to see some actual evidence before you all start dancing in the street. The japanese have made fake SS's all the time regarding this stuff, especially recently. Freaking BG needs to come back online already so we can get some more legit sources of information.

You do understand that Einherjar is a way to get abjurations that usually you'd have to wait months or years for the chance to get due to the competition and low drop rates of the HNM's that drop them right? Yeah you need to bring a bunch of people, but you can get everyone gear far, far faster than having to camp HNM's every day for just the chance fight the mob for the chance to see it drop.

Your post sounds more like you wanted SE to just mail you everything you'd ever want rather than actually do anything.

Id hope that turns out to be true. It would be great to be able to do this with 6 people. I never really have the schedule where I can set aside the same time every week for a 36 man run. Do I have free time? Yes. Just not always at the same times. So, I was quite excited that I could get 5 friends together and take a whack at this, with a chance to get some cool shit. We'll have to see.

Yes you are. The rest of us are creaming ourselves at the thought of actually getting an e.body.

Its just SE's way of saying "Hah, you can't say we don't give you instance like stuff that small groups can't do."

And yeah, anyone remember the PCC off the Hakutaku? :P

Hahaha I remember that screenshot!

Hardly. I work for everything I get. I just wish that the 6 person route would be a bit more viable, because from what people are saying, it's nigh impossible. However, I guess we still need to see. Things like that I expect to work hard for, however it gets a bit frustrating having your schedule as erratic as mine.

Yeah, when I responded to your post you hadn't said that your schedule was erratic, so I can understand your problem; and there have been more than enough idiots complaining about even simple requirements to get gear. Larger groups gives SE more room to make the fights challenging, and lets more people participate at once even with the fights being instanced. I've had to deal with an erratic schedule before, so I just attended the runs that I could; it takes longer to get the stuff you want, but you'll still get it.
