So, I am going with one of my friends to do the Ranger quest, it's fairly easy, but he just wanted to come anyway. There was a 55 RDM there farming and killing tigers to help us. So A high lvl THF who is /anon, I am pretty sure he was in his 60's. Comes up slaps us all and leaves, i'm guess he thought he owned that farming spot or something, and his name is Baobao, after I get the fang i'm almost to Jeuno, just about halfway there, and I see him coming with a huge train :x I was too busy trying
to run, He either used a Warp scroll, or the ability Hide, but all-in-all he got me killed. Just warning all of you apparently this guy has a very bad temper. I'm surprised he didn't sit there and kill the Old Sabertooth too.

Well, This guy is an Extreme Jackass.

hahaha, that happened to me too when I got my ranger, it was the same guy, and he did the same thing, every time the old tiger appeared, HE KILLED IT!, me and my friend got so mad, that my friend had to call a GM, anyway, the GM finally appread, "you'll have to do the quest tomorrow" is all he said, i got so mad, so i did it the next day.

I wonder if the GMs will act upon that? If that is defined as harrasment or not.
 
I read and heard from people I know that many people have had issues with this guy and also know that he a gil seller which camps this spot for tiger teeth, so I took it upon myself to try to mess with him a bit. I'm a high lv pld so I took my lv 30 gear I had for craigs and set off on my way to the Old Sabertooth Tiger site. Once I got there, he tried to send me a tell to know why I was there. I didn't reply though and began my voking on tigers.

I was owning Tigers and then noticed that he was trying to Dia them after a while. From what I see, he is a thf/whm and don't believe he is in the 60's like someone suggested. Probably mid 50's or a little bit higher. He then tried clicking on trade with me after an hour and a half of me camping there waiting for him to try to train as previously said in the topic. Then thinking that I wouldn't realize that he has whm sub, he would run into cave, cure himself and run back out. When he tried healing mp, he would hide behind a rock by the wall outside so I wouldn't see it. Then he runs into cave and uses "Hide" as if I can't target him to see him.. so I wave.

The people that came by for the Old Sabertooth seemed to have a bit of an issue with him since he was trying to camp it instead of letting the people watch it die. I didn't even touch it if people came for it. So after a few hours of him not trying the training technique, I decided to use that thing that gil sellers camping NMs do, cure and 2hr for pld. Figured someone has to teach him a lesson for not letting people do their ranger quest. So he chased me and the mob about half way back to jeuno lol. He used /flee and dia but mob continued chase and became unclaimed after a while. He also had a long way back to go back to camp ;).

Long story short, if you gil sellers are reading this.... DON'T SCREW WITH THE HONEST PEOPLE OF QUETZALCOATL!!!!! Someone is bound to find out about it and screw with you! I'd say he lost about four hours of farming.. I was bored ;) May be nothing but I got the satisfaction of knowing he was a ticked at least while I played a bit with him.

I've messed the other day with gil sellers camping tree cuttings and moss and got them to leave the other day too after a while. I'm planning on going to Ordelle Caves to mess with the known gil sellers there too. It's a nice break from xping and I can't just let it be so easy for them.. they need harrassment also. If anyone wants to come with when I'm not xping or doing other things I need to do at that moment, let me know. I would say you need to be a safe lv so you don't get aggro while there ;)
 
How come gms let this guy go but some guy named xchase calls a gm a thousand times on me kristell, and bernardas a thousand times we get sent to the green room and threatened to be banned fromt he game. Its not really fair, from the way it sounds you guys have called a gm billions of times on this guy and nothing yet i get sent to green room to be yelled at!

I had the total opposite experience with this guy. Perhaps you taught him a lesson Grasinthor. The other day I showed up there to do my ranger quest at about 8:30am central time. I happened to show up right as he killed the old tiger. So I did /cry. He sent me a tell and said "Quest?" I replied "yes". He replied back "sorry". I was 30 whm 15 blm at the time btw. He then proceeded to kill the other tigers as they popped near me and when the Old Tiger spawned he didnt touch it and let it die naturally for me. When it died I ran over and got my fang and /bowed to Baobao and sent him a tell and said "thanks". He replied "np" and that was that. So, perhaps he got too many warnings from the GM or perhaps I have Grasinthor to thank =) Either way I have all my advanced jobs unlocked now! /cheer

I would just like to add, Kristell is a dumbass. Ok, carry on.
 
Gilsellers list

I just wanted to ask if anyone's emailed that list to SE? i know i reported at least 3 names on that list for monopolizing EVERY GODDAMN Goobue in zi tah tonight and mentioned possible gil sellling, namely i mention iaw.. iwia .. iwotthehelleverhisnameis,Maxiang, Leol (who had been camping there with smalldraken, jaychou, and the previously mentioned folks for WELL over a week solid with not break save for the recent patch..) and just got a "We'll have the legal dept. look in to it.." from the GM.
