Hello again. I am a frequent watcher, nonfrequent participater of this board, but something really weird has happened.
I did 1, only 1, /shout in Jeuno about anyone willing to spend some windy CP for a 25k reward. Like 3 seconds later, a random THF (lv 52 i believe) named PROVERBS /tells me that they have 75,000 CP but will not associate with my LS, NotoriousHunters. Of course, I asked why, and what LS they were in, and he/she said that it is none of my business and that they don't have to explain anything to me.
I asked the LS about this "Proverbs" fella. One of the LS members told me that they got a /random /tell from the same person, about something totally unrelated.
Then, a /tell from someone comes in saying "Isn't that Colbwa's new character?"
...I proceded to go about my day and started heading toward Bastok. I asked Proverbs if they needed my assistance for anything, not actually willing to help, but more so of an inquisitive statement. Proverbs says yes, and says that "everyone" has a problem with NotoriousHunters.
Yes, yes, I know, some people have certain issues with some of the NH members, and possible the whole LS. But I adamantly know the overall sentiment of the general populace in the end-game group DO NOT hate NH.
He/she then told me to leave NH and "restore my dignity." He called me, and the LS, gilsellers. FYI, I'm not a gilseller. lol That made me want to laugh. I rarely ever camp NMs, and have low-lv crafts. Whatever though....Just what makes me angry is such blantant remarks about my LS w/o a viable rebuttle.
Anyway....anyone else met this character?
