OneWingAngel went out in search for a rabbit footprint....

They came across a few friends, and killed a Black Coney repeatedly in hopes of getting a precious Selene's Bow.

after a few deaths here and there, the item dropped once, then a second time...in a row!

Thanks again guys, I really appreciate all those in OWA and the three people that helped me out. Everyone died at least once, maybe twice in attempts to get the drop, I'm grateful for all the time, and exp lost today. The bow was well worth it

Well Shakaar, I'm somewhat ignorant with Black Connie but I did try White Connie once when I was a 63 BST, along with some 75 RNG's and a THF. That thing is not soloable, it spams that healing carrot move and you have to have alot of fast DoT to take it down. I freaking hate that carrot move with a passion

In my experiences getting the bow, I think you would have better chances on solo-ing the Black Coney. With a party, the White Coney is far, far, far easier to kill. Instead of the carrot move, the Black Coney spams a fairly damaging AoE attack. The Black Coney also has a lot more hit points, but it doesn't have any moves to regenerate it. So if you could stay out of the AoE range, and could be able to consistently charm the mobs in the area, I'd say you could have a chance. Would be interesting to watch, if nothing else XD

We had some serious overkill for my bow. I'm trying to remember, but i believe we had at least 4 or 5 70+ people, 3 60+, and i think about 3 high 50's.

....and we still had deaths...the whirl claws aoe hit me for about 300 and eventually killed me because I forgot to recast utsusemi.

and then there were deaths because of the stupid bomb that decided to come join us....yeah....need I say more?
