Once Upon a time... The Vision of Escaflowne

[xRiokox]

Once upon a Time...

there once existed a girl that loved to watch anime and drawing characters, making mangas, creating her own stories...

but one day... FFXI came to her life and all that disappeared...

until... one day (actually like 3 days ago >.>) she went to visit mixxup (for no reason) and saw 2 DVDs entitled: "The Vision of Escaflowne". She started remembering the old days when she used to watch anime and remembered that she used to love this series, what caught her attention was the price: just $6 dollars each DVD with 3 chapters and some extras she was like: omgwtf! so she bought them and went back home and started watching them... oh oh what a beautiful anime... she almost cried

lol ok enough with the drama >.>

yeah I wanted to know if any of you ffxi players have the same tastes like me, if so, have you watched this anime yet? Do you like it? What do you think of it? I'd like to exchange comments, or anything about this anime, I love it a lot! What are your favourite characters? What do you think of the story? What would have been your ideal end for the anime? Come on, there must be at least one person that watches anime here lol ^^

My favourite characters are Van Falen, Hitomi Kanzaki, Allen Schezar and Dilandau Albatou (omg yes Dilandau is hot! I prefer him as Dilandau instead of as Celene lol) What about the music? I actually love it, every every every song. What about the artwork? I personally love it. I love the character designs oh oh and do not forget about Escaflowne! all the mechas! yes they look so cool. ^^

Here here a scary pic of my idol Dilandau:

lol I love that... evil smile of him o.o

more more!

omg yes I love his sexy evil smile lol

*drools* err ok ok sorry emm so yeah let the discussion start! ^^

..hopefully someone here knows about this anime... ._.

I watched the series when it was on TV for the bit that it was. I loved it, but never really got that into it.

[Elemmire]

hehe, it was good.. but that guys a woman, man! D:

[Kurgon]

Love the series and while the movie is a retelling of the tv series it is different enough (in many ways totally different) to be good.

[Zerayla]

Have the movie, and have the tv series recorded on video cassette somewheres x_x

I loved the series, thought it had a lot of good romance and the action was great too. I really enjoyed the story, and the characters.

[Khajit]

Escaflowne is a series known for people with gigantic noses.
Series is good too.
Dont know how you managed to lt ffxi make you stop doing stuff cause you get tons of free time lfp if you dont feel like doing anything else ingame.
I'm constantly watching anime while lfp.

[Myrrh]

If it wasn't for this show i would have never gotten into anime and in turn would never have become the nerd that i am today......wait is that a bad thing? >.>

[Kurgon]

I need to finish collecting Revolutionary Girl Utena. I only caught the first DVD of episodes.

Even though it is Shoujo, I liked it.

Neche: I watched some chapters they passed on TV, after that, they removed it from the tv I don't know why -.-;; but hey I have the final chapter on DVD! lol

Elemmire: >.> Yes I know mm Dilandau is a woman originally... lol XD and her name is Celene, but when she transforms into Dilandau she is actually transforming into a man o.o

Kurgon: Yeah I loved the movie, and some things differ from the series /like the designs lol) but it's good. I'd love to watch it again. oh and Revolutionary Girl Utena is another good series too, I didn't watch all the chapters though, and the music is cool too.

Zerayla: yes, the combination of action, drama and romance is well balanced, I love the Van-Hitomi-Allen Triangle ^^ althought Hitomi and Van never kissed in the series! >.< hey you need to lend me those cassetes >.>

Khajit: lol gigantic noses.. XD true and well I'd watch anime while lfp if I had new anime to watch.. *cry*

Myrrh: no, actually that's a good thing Myrrh lol Escaflowne changed your life XD

anyone knows wheren can i find the whole soundtrack of the series? I love the music and I used to have it in cassete... -.- and I lost all of them >.<
