I can't stand Satanic worshipping music. Nor can I stand someone with a horrible voice screaming thoughout entire songs. The music itself isn't that bad. Slayer - the crappy satanic bull and crappy screamer might be good.
 
I don't like Christian rock either but I have some respect for it.

I listen to both Satanic (Slayer) and Christian (As I Lay Dying). Lol. But Slayer has priority that day! And Slayer doesn't scream too much. Plus their beats kick ass, I love their guitar parts.

I like Slayer's sound. You can dig someone's music without digging their message. I mean, I listen to Eminem all the time and I haven't killed a hooker in years.

Find me 15 songs of Slayer's that are "satanic worship" crap or whatever. Slayer has most likely been around longer than YOU have. Don't like the music? Fine. Go sit in your dark room with Good Charlette posters on the wall and play with a razor while listening to "Every Rose Has it's Thorn" or whatever it is you people do.

Bad assumation. One can like bands like "Iron maiden" and number of the beast song, AND like a band like poison and a song like "Every rose has it's thorn" . That'd be me! =)

Wrong.

Metallica was a great band up until the 90s.

This new age metal is total bull. It's not metal. It's a combination of hard rock and rap with screaming. I'm tired of hearing new bands talk about how they were inspired by shitty bands like "Green Day" and it's how they started.

There are few real guitarists left that can play real metal. People like Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai. People like Buckethead and Micheal Angelo.

The experts know that in order to be the best you have to learn from the best. They study classical.
