Not a bad price for a well-painted resign figure. I dunno if some people just don't know what those kinds of things cost.
 
Agreed Mara, just a bad choice on which character they did...it'd be like way cooler if it was Karaha-Baruha summoning Fenrir :D
 
Cut the price in half, and I'd certainly think about buying it. Then it could do battle (or at least have a staring contest) with my HorrorClix Great Cthulhu. I spent $80 for that. It now guards my fridge. I risk insanity and death to reach the Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream.
 
I think the price is reasonable. You all should be ashamed, 2 weeks of a 10 year old chinese boys life is worth this small price.
 
The value is subjective, of course, and nobody is paying for 2 weeks of a Chinese kid's life. Cut out the middle man (SE) and you could buy 2 weeks of a Chinese kid's life for less than $230.
 
For it to be made of polyresin, I would definitely expect the price to be much less than if it were made of a different material, and also probably slightly larger.

I am unsure if these are made of the same material, but Sideshow Collectibles has produced very beautiful miniatures, busts, and other collectibles for a while now, my favorites being the Lord of the Rings series.

Balrog Statue - $150.00 - from what I recall, it originally sold for $300.00 USD. I have a miniature of Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul, but they cost me $150.00 for the set.

Shadow Lord, although cool as hell, isn't worth that kind of price tag IMO.
