I'm not sure how many baseball fans are here I know Toqa is a White Sox fan like myself. So if you're a baseball fan by all means discuss how your team did in the season opener.
The Sox lost 10-8 after rallying back from 7-4 after Jim Thome had 2 home runs in the game in the top of the first and top of the third, but Mark Buehrle gave up 7 runs in only 2 innings of work. There were some bad calls, like Orlando Cabrera being called for interferance while sliding into second when Casey Blake of the Indians did the same innings earlier, by the umps that cost runs that would have had the game tied in the 9th inning. Over-all besides some blunders in fielding and pitching I was happy with the offense not relying on homers to win. I also enjoyed the stellar work by Nick Massat after Buehrle stumbled in the second inning with his 4 strike outs and scoreless effort out of the long relief slot.
