Let's say Necrosis did bot, (devil's advocate if you will).. how many of you others bot, too? Is that why I get this lil' lag spike every time an nm pops?
? See a lot of you highly educated on these bots would cause me to think that perhaps he's being singled out. Or perhaps in a few months bots will be as common as mpking -- as long as you have a justified reason to use said bot. Being that he is VERY good at claiming does make it highly suspicious. Also leaves room for many people to cry foul. As much as I'd hate to discover that such a good player was a cheat, I do believe if you want it to be more than a he said she said sittuation that you'd need something more concrete.
-- Problem is, you could tell a person the sky is falling and they're not likely to believe you until they see it fall for themselves. But, then you also have people that you can tell the sky is falling and they'll actually believe it. And as the saying goes, there is always a lie in beLIEve. So as much as fraps would be nice, it's not likely that even it would stand up in court if the jury already felt that he was innocent.
The AFK issue: I am not sure if this NM is lottery or a timed spawn, but I do know Necrosis has always spent a good bit of time with that NM. Being that people do in fact set their alarm clocks for NMs in this game and that his most valuable asset in the sittuation is more so the claim-- if he was in fact busy with things either in rl.. on the computer, homework, etc.. Yah, I could find some logic in him going afk right after the claim. Being that I normally don't go up there often and I'm not too keen on the layout of the mobs there, I'd have to question would he be more of an asset to a team by not moving from his position to avoid links-- eh, but, I suppose I can come up with these logical excuses because I'm a bit biased. I cannot bring myself to believe that he is a cheater, nor do I want to believe that he is. -- Especially on a few pictures that don't prove anything other than the OP breaking rules of TOS. I'm a bit old fasion when I feel two wrongs don't make a right.
