This second run was so. F_cking. Smooth. We were 45min late gathering up, and we got aggro once en route to the Hakutaku pop. Those were the worst parts of last night.
I'm still amazed. There was no problems whatsoever with Hakutaku, and I would say he even took less time to kill last night (only 6 melee's) as opposed to last week (at least 9 melee's).
I owe buckets... no, trash bins full of gratitude to the following people:
Alanon. First and foremost. Without Al, I would not have my hat right now - no doubt in my mind. He seems to believe that he was the reason we wiped on my cluster last week (despite my efforts to tell him he's severely wrong), so being the smarmy jackass he is, he went out and farmed me almost an entire set of eyes (he originally offered a cluster, but I told him I wouldn't take it). I owe him one Golden Eye, but he gave me the rest. On top of that, he calls out favors on some of his people, to get them to come help me. Al, your experience and aptitude were invaluable last night, and I owe you a f_ckton. I am at your beck & call; when you need me for anything, I will be there.
My static. Motley, Mielle, Rorschach, BigD, Daryus. Most of them have come to both my o-hat runs, but even more than that, they sacrificed their personal time they could be doing more important things with, to come and farm eyes with me because I am a poor bastard who can't afford to buy them. I know they would be there without saying anyways just to back me up, but they deserve thanks nonetheless.
Lanien. Though he may be a bloody dork, he's an excellent bard and his ass was, of course, nothing short of a necessity. Lanien has also been at both of my runs, and incredibly helpful in picking up my slack as an event leader. He even offered make-up sex when I lost my first cluster... I thought that was really nice of him. Alas, he demanded I rape his name; however since I'm not terribly good at name-raping, I'll just rape Lan instead.

Stouter. Myihta. The folks whom Al now owes favors to in my stead. They came for my pop and mine alone, but since I was last, they came for all 3 without a hint of malcontent. Experienced players who bolstered the smoothness of this run; Stouter was given the joys of setting up the parties and being the BRD in the tank party, whereas Myi (as THF) was working fantastically well with me in regards to moving around Hakutaku when someone else got hate. I was often too slow to get into position - Myi was always standing at his back long before I was. Her skills shined last night, as they always do in Dynamis.
Kyrial, Rhayne, Dajade. The last of the pack, yet still 3 key roles. Kyrial got her hat last week, but happily offered to stay as long as need be to finish off the rest of us. Rhayne came for but gained nothing from both of these runs, while Dajade was main tanking with the best of them. I managed to suffice as backup tank, but Daj has proven twice that Hakutaku can be solo-tanked by a skilled NIN with ease.
That is all. Congrats to Vezroyale and Jediknight, both respectable dudes who also got their hats without a hitch. Another big round of thanks to all involved.
P.S. I have never, ever seen an o-hat look uglier than they do on elvaan females.
