I'm not gonna take sides on this topic. I honestly don't keep up with the 50 billion news outlets out there to tell who reports facts and who warps the facts. I hardly even pay attention to what's going on across the globe anymore. The news is more depressing than ever nowadays.

Also, while the reliability of Fox News or any other news station might have stemmed from it, I believe the original topic at hand was if Osama had died or not. I would think so, since he's been looking more and more like shit every time we see him. Hell, maybe he's been dead for years and all the tapes are just eerie predictions. Conspiracy theories gogo!

What you are basically telling me is that everyone that died on 911 was 'collateral damage'. These are your own words. Because guess what sunshine; the taliban were at war with us. They hit an economic instilation to destabalize our economy and alot of civilians died. This is your logic and it works in reverse.

Look up the numbers of actual civilian to militant deaths. When the toll of civilians is 3-4 times greater then militants, then guess what, thats not collateral. that is deliberate. genocide. We back a country that has a whole other country in one open air concentration camp. You dont think the majority of people around the world dont think we're the bad guys? We invaded a country FOR NO REASON.

Very very little real news, followed by political scandal because someone is knobbing someone else, then the other 20 minutes of a 30 minute slot follow the story of Mittens the kitten, who got stuck in a tree.

C-span is the best of the American mainstream media in my opinion. After that comes the rest except for fox. Fox is dead last. If you pay attention to media outside of US you start to get a bigger picture of what goes on.

The main thing I have against mainstream media is it almost never makes a big deal out of real news. All of the biggest news storys are usually shown in one tiny clip here and there or in a small article on page 14-D or some crap. The biggest example of this is 9/11. Thankfully, Paul Thompson has done extensive research on 9/11 in mainstream media and put all of the information together in what is called The Complete 9/11 Timeline so everyone can see the big picture straight from the mainstream media. As for the Osama being dead topic, there is a lot of evidence to support that theory although I'm not sure how much I believe it.
