Just 30 minutes ago an odd and lucky event took place that put me in reauland and Artanis's debts for a while.
I was sitting in whitegate thinking to myself "I dont think ill level dragoon again until i can get an assault party together... i think ill level blue mage until i can get a run going..." Little did I know there were two LS members who were bored enough to incline themselves to join me in my epic quest for the search of the beloved Assault Jerkin.
As I proceeded to Onzozo, lance in hand, I was unsure of what was to take place in this grim-looking moment. I had used linkshell talk to speak with the two and i had stated "We'll stay in onzozo at most an hour after Artanis gets here, and if ose doesnt pop, we'll leave" Quick-enough of a response, Reau made is agreement "kk". So as reau and I sit in onzozo, killing toramas to help pop Ose... we had the joy of watching a GS pt exping off of toramas nearly whipe twice. "How big is Ose's window?" Reauland asked. "Oh about 6 hours, but wiki and somepage say its a lotto pop," I reply. With an earth-shattering sigh, reau stays willing to stay for the hopeless hour that was to take place.
Slowly, we kill the PHs one by one, when all of the sudden, OSE POPS! So Reau quickly grabs a torama pet and starts wearing away at the NMs hp slowly but steadily. About 1 min into the fight, Artanis pops up with his lil bunny/squirrel trailing behind him. As reauland kites Ose back and forth, Art manages to pull out garuda and wails a Predator Claws on Ose for 1059 damage. The ones to follow aved at around 100 dmg, but he then pulled out one for 830 dmg.
After 10-15 min, Ose was down to about 10% hp, so reau tells us we can melee it now. So we run up to it, start hitting it with our toothpick and toy tomahawk and scratch the Ose up little by little. I manage to get in a 181 penta thrust and Ose turns to me... so now im sitting there with this large kitty staring into my eyes as I see "Ose is paralyzed". I quickly go with my Galka-like reflexes and mash my superjump macro. Ose falls to the ground after a few more slaps of garuda's womanly hands... Screeny below:
