...that!!

Me and Wataza just got back from Otakon 2007, and I just wanted to share the awsome FFXIish costumes we saw. Well, and to hunt down the dude in the Windy Akenon. >_>! Anyone else go?

(Wataza bumped me as I was taking this pic. ; ; Oopsie.)

If anyone went, and was/wasnt in costume, I was the Sumomo who like.. RAN across stage for the costume contest. /shy.

I met the Windy guy last year and befriended him in game, but I can't remember his name. ><;
And the bard is a longtime friend of mine that I met 3 or 4 years ago.
I really wish I could have gone this year. ;_;

I think he was using .dat hacks. Since, you know, the Relic Condom Hat isn't the most... beautiful piece of armor in the game.

I had asked him where his condom hat was, he said "There is no such thing as the condom hat, its a Wal..something turban!" Cracked me up.

*laughs evilly* I CAN STALK THE WINDY MAN NOW! He was the judge for the costume contest. >_> It was rigged I tell ya. RIGGED.

Next year there should be like a mini-quetzie get together. Find a tonberry to collectivly pwn.

My Otakon 2007 Pictures

Heya, since we talking about Otakon, here is a link to my Otakon Pictures: http://picasaweb.google.com/washuotaku/Otakon2007BaltimoreMaryland

I'm too lazy to pick out the Final Fantasy XI peeps, but doesn't matter since I got like 2 or 3 (very low turnout of FFXI this year). But I had a good overall, sorry I didn't run into anyone on the server... but then again... would you want to run into me... I might just do another random poll for you.

Enjoy!

Did you guys wait in line on Thursday? People think we're crazy but I swear that is half the fun of it. lol It was funny, there was this guy who was on E who was hitting on mah lover. <_<; I love Otakon, I'll post my pics when I get a chance to upload them at the house, I'm still kinda on vacation from it. ;p Can't wait to go next year! ; ;

edit - Were any of you at the ADV sneak peeks panel? :o I picked up myself a madlax complete season after it was over for bugging the guys. xD And omfg...the yaoi panel was so funny. :3

<3 the SMN, rat, girl and all!

Most of those pictures turned out really nice. Some great costumes there too, Willy Wonka and the green ranger looked perfect!

I didn't go to Otakon this year, almost wish I had after hearing about it from some of my friends that did go. I've been twice before and all those kids running around as Inuyasha hyped up on Pocky get really annoying.

No more Inuyasha, its all Bleach and Naurto now. If you go with a good friend, its totally worth it though. Bring a weapon, hit them in the head and or ass (Yaoi paddles anyone?)

I have some more Otakon pics (I was lazy and only uploaded the FFXI ones.. >_>) and I'm still looking to see if anyone youtubed me running off stage terrified in the fashion show.

Is this the Otakon thingy that was in Baltimore? My brother and sister-in-law went to that.

great pics! I will make it my goal to go next summer. I missed two summers in a row :*(

Did anyone happen to go to the Silent Hill panel? What a let down that was. :(

Yeah, that would be me.
Otakon was fun this year. Shame I've been working so much I managed to miss this post somewhere along the way.
