Otakon, who's going?

would love too, but I'm a broke little girl and Yankeeville is quite the trip from Texas, XD.

I was there about two years ago.
Tons of fun. :-D

I'd love to go this year, but kinda broke at the moment too.
Have fun!!

I would go but I spent too much money at the Anime Expo XD

On a sidenote, apparently us Quetzalcoatl people don't go to conventions. ;p Just look at the last 2 "expo" topics

I'll be there!! The whole weekend, going to meet up with Reya, Raesvelg, Culebra, and whoever I can find!!

I actually met Reya and Raesvelg last year at Otakon.

Is Otakon really worth the money and trip? I've heard it wasn't.

Otakon is the biggest convention on the east coast, I've gone for about 4 years now, and it's always been amazing. Met a lot of new people and had a LOT of fun.

What kind of events do they hold there? Or is it just like similar to E3, where it's alot of displayed huts & everything?

Most of the stuff is listed on the site, but there are concerts, and the raves are pretty nice. The game room is gigantic, there's an art show, lots of video rooms. I love going to the masquerade and watching skits, they're usually pretty funny.

Hmm. Maybe I can get to that. Baltimore isn't that far away from where I am. Only a few hours to get there I would say.

Lanien!!! You better go!! And hurry because there's only like 7000 tickets left, and they'll be gone quick!

lol I'll see if there are any decent places to stay there. I haven't been to Baltimore in a few years

You could go Hoboistic and stay the the cardboard mansion that always seems to be behind the ESPN restaraunt in Baltimore :3

Speaking of Otakon, I'm leaving my PC to go pick up Reya so we can be all in once place tomorrow, lol.

Myself, Reya, and Aragaeon from Quetzy are going, plus a couple friends from Sylph. ^^

Cya there Lyrai! ^^

Damnit, i wanted to go cause of Yoshiki alone... not into anime at all, but X Japan was my fav band for a long time...

Anyways, i know miros just left today for there... He won't be on the shell for a couple days T.T

Say hi to miros if you find him there =P

Cheers

Heya! Head to AnimeParliment at 7:00PM on friday. Two Quetzy players Kirameki (myself) and Kiersten will be running the event. In Bastokan and Windurstian aketon's respectively.

I'll be there, I live about 5 mins away from the Convention Center. Been going for years, but this time I'm going to be there by myself... say hi if you see me, I guess.

I haven't been in three years. Don't think I'm going to start up again any time soon.

I have to pass this year since I'm moving and will be busy during that time, but I might go again next year.
