Ouryu Comes Crashing Down

I was in the CoP mission fight against Ouryu last night with Quieren (BLM), Reko (NIN), Asmodius (BLM), Hyatox (RNG) and Andreva (BRD). We totally owned his scaly wyrm ass. Of the CoP battles I've gone through so far, this was easily my favorite.

Caerloc, Onaule, Dizzlewizzle, Dimikimi, Reko and another person I can't remember (I think it was Rorion, but I'm not 100% on that) went into the fight ahead of us and also won.

The time spent farming hippogryph tailfeathers for mistmelts paid off. There's something very satisfying about watching a big dragon fly up in the air with hunger in his eyes and being able to say "Get your butt back down here."

Congratulations Hali! She was my favorite fight too, so far. Amazing BC arena too.

That is definately the most fun fight for a blm, last time I did the fight we went as 2x rdm 3x blm, without any mistmelts. He hits through shadows while in the air (I was blm/nin, he hit me for about 70 a pop) and came crashing down on his own doing 150 damage aoe.

I think it's 40.. or is it 50...

The fight is capped at 50.

If you have the mistmelts, he doesn't do AoE when he lands.

Congrats! That fight is alot of fun, challanging but doable, compared to something like the airship battle that rapes you and costs a fortune while doing it.
