I knew someone would post something like that, lol.
A seller puts up an item for a specific price. A buyer buys the item for that price. I don't see how that makes the seller an ass.

One could argue that the seller overpriced the item on purpose to prey on buyers who either don't know better or make a mistake while clicking the interface. Regardless, the responsibility of this transaction is imho with the buyer.
 
yeah i made a mistake, i just hope this guy is nice and will return the lost money, and i being a nice guy will compensate his being nice with something nice in return.

People paying 1 mill for an INSECT WING (Emp Hairpin)
14 Mill for a Scorp Claw

And now people do it with beastcoins =(

i mean if the seller knows the buyer made a mistake and refuses to give him back his gil. then he is an ass.
 
I'm guessing it was an AH transaction though (Gold beastcoins are 50k atm... one "0" away from 500k) rather than a seller trying to con someone through a bazaar....

At least wait for confirmation before lynching the guy for ripping people off...

People trying to pawn them of as Ancient Beastcoins.

Farnham, just out of curiosity, how significant of a loss paying that 500,000G to you? How long would it take you to get that amout back by farming, trading, whatever.

I would say its a significant number to me, I can't say I am expecting this money back, but I am trying anything I can, as it's an honest mistake.
 
my homeboy grease put his SH in AH for 1 gil to take off signature and somebody got it for 4.6 mil. me and him still looking for that person.
 
In the PoL Viewer, use friendlist searches to find out who those mules belong to guys.
