Overlord is fun any one else have it, i bought the PC version, just wondering how far everyone is
 
Only played the demo on Xblive. I liked the game lol. Have yet to buy it.. Dealing with Forza2, Dirt, Bigs and Darkness atm;; maybe in a week or so ill buy lol.
 
I picked it up a few weeks back. Haven't really played. It's good in short bursts, but gets pretty repetitive. Only beat the Melvin, Oberon, and Sir William so far.
 
i rented it from hastings enjoyed it so much bought it 2 days later. but only played bout 30mins into the game. seems pretty fun to me. i like a pikman meets grimlins type of game.
 
i havent killed oberon yet, im to lazy to play lol and it is fun in short bursts
 
I'm mainly playing Darkness. That game is great to look at it and has a great story.

I also play Overlord in short bursts lol.
 
I hope no one gets angry that i bumped this thread, but i was wondering if anyone that has xbox live would be interested in trying the online co-op survival mode. I think it looks pretty fun and there are like no Overlord online games (not the greatest multiplayer i guess, go figure eh?), survival or otherwise.
 
Online suffers from awful netcode :( And the actual lobby structure of the game is virtually nonexistant.

Thats probably why you can't find public games.
 
Yeah, i noticed that about the lobbies. It just saddens me, because i really think that this game could have had some really great online potential. That survival aspect still interests me, so the offer still stands if anyone is interested in trying it out.

28:53 out of 30 minutes for the last survival achievement.

Me and my Overlord partner usually get between 20 and 25, that was our closest yet.
 
How does the online work Skaw? Is your character with the armor they have used in the online?

No. Nor are your minions online based on your minions offline. And you're stuck with using the Axe.

Things are also based off the mode. Co-op Survival, you share minion life force. You also have 6 health bars, and 3 mana, independent of eachother.

Pilliage and Slaughter, you do not have shared life force. I don't recall how much health/mana you have in pilliage, and I've never played Slaughter. Slaughter is just death match. Pilliage is another competitive, but not strictly against eachother. You compete to see who can achieve the set goal of gold, or closest when time runs out. You just run around, collect gold, carry bags of it back to your spawn point. But you can also kill the other Overlord to slow his progress, as dying results in a gold penalty.
 
30 minute Survival done. Geez, there cannot be many people with that achievement.
 
i wana play survival lol i cant play online though no one does ; ;
